This is my first blog, and also my experience with Apidexin.
I would like to start by saying that I do not think diet pills are a "cure all" for everyone. Nor do I think that any one diet pill is "healthy."Also, if a person takes a diet pill without changing their eating habits, the pill (and the person dieting) is bound to fail.
My profile is this: I am a female in my early thirties and I only have a few pounds to lose (say, 10 or so). I do not smoke, drink rarely, and walk forty+ minutes at least three times a week. My biggest problem is my appetite -- I am always hungry and have little self control when it comes to eating. I was looking for something that would help curb my appetite so I could naturally eat less calories and not feel deprived.
I first started a while back with Fastin. Fastin has 100mg of caffeine per pill, and 37.5 mg of ?â?©-methyl-phenethylamine. Fastin warned to not consume other caffeine while taking the pills. I only started out with one pill instead of the recommended two pills. Normally, I don't even drink fully caffeinated coffee, so I felt very UP on this pill. When it wore off, I felt sick and tired. I only did that for one day, but I decided to give it a second try and break the pill in half. Half a pill was tolerable, but it still made me feel over-stimulated, and also made me feel very tired later on in the day, but caused insomnia. Not good. I did not feel well at all when taking this pill, and so after only three days, I threw the bottle in the trash.
I then did some research and came across Apidexin. I thought it was worth a try, and so I ordered three bottles (and three detox bottles came with). I ordered so many for the cost saving benefits as my fianc?â?® is taking them too. The unfortunate thing with Apidexin is they do not tell you how much of each ingredient is in each pill, so the only way to see how it affects you is to take it. Well, I took one pill, and and I did feel stimulated, but it was ok. I can't really explain it, but it is a much "smoother" type of stimulation, and there is no terrible crash like I experienced with the Fastin. I also feel calm. I don't know if that is from the caffeine being buffered or what exactly makes the sense of calm. I can tell when the pill is in my system, and the height of the stimulation lasts for about two hours, but the appetite suppression lasts longer.
Still, I was concerned with the amount of caffeine in the pill, and so I wrote the company and asked how much was in the pills. They could not tell me the amount (because that is the way they protect the pill from being duplicated), but they told me I could drink a small amount of caffeinated beverages while taking the pill with no problems, so I can?óÔé¼Ôäót imagine there is that much caffeine in them.
However, I would not advise anyone to take this pill that has high blood pressure or if they are smoker (or other health problems that could be aggravated by a stimulant pill). I read a lot of reviews of people saying they felt really UP, and/or out of it, "spacey," etc. -- I would imagine that they are taking way too much (and maybe also smoking, drinking a lot of caffeine, etc.) for their body to handle. Let's not forget that this pill is what it is -- a stimulant. So it is not healthy, even if you are taking it in a "healthier" way.
I have been dieting for about a week (the first few days were really difficult!) and I have been taking the Apidexin for four days now. I do not take two pills, as I do not think my body can handle that amount of stimulation, but my body has adjusted to the one pill. The past two days I have also begun taking the Apidexin at lunchtime instead of breakfast, with no problem sleeping at night.
I drink Matcha Green Tea with milk (1 cup) in the mornings, and that works well to curb my appetite until lunchtime, when I take the Apidexin. I switched to that regime because I found myself starving at around four p.m. which leads me to want to binge-eat.
This pill does effectively curb my appetite for about four to six hours; it works well enough to make small meals seem satisfying. However once the pill wears off and my body is screaming for calories, I find it hard to not binge at night. I tried to prevent this by eating a sensible amount during the day even if I am not hungry. It worked well, but on other days I forgot to eat much during the day because I was not hungry.
In the evening, I can usually eat a sensible dinner and if I am having problems I drink Kellogg?óÔé¼Ôäós protein water. I find if I can go to bed slightly hungry I usually wake up weighing less. I hate going to bed really hungry though, so if I am very hungry at bedtime I will eat a piece of light cheese (light babybel works great, and only 50 calories).
For me to lose weight, I have to cut my calories to about 1200 per day. I am used to eating 2000+, so this is hard for me to do with no appetite suppressant. It has been a lot easier with Apidexin. I have lost 2.5 pounds in my one week of dieting (I have actually lost more than that, but I think part of it is water weight). Overall, I like the pill so far. However, I do not think the PILL itself will make anyone lose weight. It simply makes it easier to eat less, and that aids weight loss, which is a big plus for me. I think if you look at this pill as a diet aid, and not a miracle, then you will be fine. Just remember it is NOT healthy, so DO NOT exceed the recommended dosage, and I don?óÔé¼Ôäót even think taking the two pills per day is a good idea. That might change as my body gets more and more used to the pills.
My fianc?â?® feels the same way as I do about the pills, but can naturally eat more than I can, so he binges in the evening, and still loses weight. One thing I forgot to mention is drink WATER. This pill will make you lose water weight, so it is important to replenish.
Today I decided to start the 72 hour detox, and so I took the detox pills about two hours ago. I am afraid they will make me sick to my stomach, but I don?óÔé¼Ôäót feel anything yet. I will update.Last edited on 2 Apr 2009 02:27 pm by DahliaSol

OK, the cleanse ?óÔé¼ÔÇ£ it did absolutely nothing for me. No weight loss, no sick to my stomach, nothing. After taking it, however, I realized I took it wrong. I only took 2 pills at a time, and it recommended three. With that in mind, I can?óÔé¼Ôäót completely say it wouldn?óÔé¼Ôäót work at all. But, I figured if I had no change in my stool whatsoever with the two pills, I would be surprised if three made the big difference.
In regard to the Apidexin itself, I am still only taking one pill a day, but am now taking it at noon. The appetite curbing effect has still worked, but I do get hungrier than I did when I first started taking it. However, it is also much easier to eat less than it was a couple of weeks ago. I have lost two more pounds since April 2nd, and my weight is on a downward trend. I am starting to look pretty skinny now, so I might only go for another 2-3 pounds.
All in all, I feel positively about the Apidexin as a diet aid so far. I will update in another few days.
