| Are there any foods that you guys eat that seem to be cursed? For example, every time I have French toast I end up bingeing that day even if I have all my food prepped and counted for the whole day. Of course I do binge a lot to begin with, but I keep a journal and I realized not once since October '08 have I had that particular breakfast without the day ending in havoc...

For me it's anything with concentrated sugar. For example I might have an extra piece of french toast but the big problem would be the maple syrup. I can't stop at a little, I have to have buckets full, the toast has to be swimming.
It might be the diabetes that makes me misbehave so badly, but I basically have to abstain from candy (oh, man, pixie sticks are the BEST. Like heroin), syrups or any type of 'topping" really, anything like that. One taste and I'm a goner.

Tacos. Even my mother, who does have pretty good self-control with food, usually loses it with them, too.
Pasta. 2 ounces of pasta is inconceivable.
Practically any food when I go from eating junk to eating right again. Tonight, I got my family Subway (but not me), and I wanted to jump over the counter and eat all of the meat in the trays. I could just see myself, "This is a stickup! Hand over all your roast beef!"

Peanut butter!!! I don't even buy it anymore. I'll have a peanut butter sandwich and then put the jar back. And then I'll sit and try not to think about it, but then go back and smother another piece of bread in peanut butter and eat it, and bring the jar with me... and then take a little spoonful right out of the jar and eat it... and then another and another and before I know it I've zoomed through 800-900 calories.
Really disgusting to think about, but SOOOO good.

| Pizza and sometimes tacos will set me off too. If I'm going to eat pizza I just know it's going to be at least three peices and I'm definently going to see a jump in weight the next day!

Mine is simply anything that is carb dense. It doesn't matter if it is not sweet like pretzels or is, like m&m's. As soon as the first carb filled delight passes these lips it starts a vicious chain of events.

I'm definitely a carb monster too. Sunchips and fiber bars quiver with fear at my approach

I foolishly let some money into my paypal account and as a result I bought 120 chocolate chip ones off ebay. They should change their name to ImpulseAuctions, seriously. Would you be interested in any?

| 120???!!! Are you serious?? That is hilarious! I have been good with Ebay. I have sold stuff on there around this time last year, but I haven't bought anything in almost 3 years. I was out of control for a while there. lol.

Pizza. One piece? Who does that? If I'm having pizza, I will eat half of the pie. I could eat a whole medium pizza alone in a few hours-- I've done it on many occasions.
And I'm with crimsonanimus-- 2 oz of pasta? I need a whole, huge plate... and maybe seconds, complete with a boatload of sauce and buttery garlic bread.
One taste of either of those and I'm a goner, I'm going to be eating and eating and eating.

| Just curious, now that we know our fatal foods, how do you cope with it? Do you avoid it all together, or some other strategy?

pizza, ice cream, pasta, chips, sushi - in that order. One bite and it's off to without self control....for me it just turned out easier to say no to the first bite than no more to the 20th bite.....except for sushi, can't live without it.
