    Hey,
          I am a 21 year old male trying to drop 60-80 lbs for myself. I have always been active, but since I graduated high school I no longer had sports I was doing for 3-4 everyday so it started building up. I am also joining the Air Force so I have to drop some weight for that as well. I realized something about myself and if I talk about something I am really trying to do, I end up successful. I hope to get to know alot of you. Ttyl

Welcome and good luck to you! I would suggest doing some of the calculators on here, they can be quite useful. Also the tutorials are very helpful.

Hope you achieve your goals... :grin:

dont kill yourself by trying too hard! set realistic goals and meet them. Make the effort to get cardio and strength training in, I think that Cardio is excellent for burning the fat, but you have to cut back the calories to achieve that goal! it is hard to do (and I cant believe I am telling you and not myself this same thing!!!!) but I think you can do it!!! Even if you cant, keep in mind the Boot Camp will take it off in a couple of weeks!! I had a friend that went to police "school" and he dropped 80 pds just in the camp they had! You CAN DO IT!!!

Enjoy yourself along the way, dont be hard on yourself.:grin::apple::pizza: all in moderation. WATCH THE BEER ITS LETHAL TO WEIGHT LOSS

Thanks, yeah i jog everyday and keep away from greasy food. I started drinking nothing but water, and so far i shedded 4 lbs in 2 days. I know the importance of a good diet. I am a college student as well so i have to keep my carbs so i can do everything i have to properly.

You know that is one of the biggest things that helped me lose weight, was getting rid of the soda, and other drinks like that.
