I'm a bit worried now because my teeth hurt since yesterday. So here's the story:
I've been purging more often for the past 3 months or so. Before that it was maybe 3 times a year and now it's 1-7 times week I'd say. Could it be that I have already done damage to my teeth?! I thought this would take much much longer, like...years!! I went to my dentist 2 weeks ago and she said that everything's perfect. My teeth just feel sensitve, even when I breath in through my mouth or drink water. I'm terrified of telling anyone and maybe there are other reasons for the pain but I can't think of any. I'd say that I eat quite healthy so I don't get why I'm losing so much hair either...

| I would say your symptoms are your body's way of telling you that your purging is harming you! It seems like you feel you have it under control, so why not use that control to stop? Ask for help from someone that you trust if it's harder than you thought it would be.

baby your hair is coming out (this happened to me too) and your teeth are hurting because you are doing a lot of damage by purging. Pressing that "undo" button by doing the old hurl and twirl is very bad. You are lacking nutrients and your body is telling you this in no uncertain terms. You are getting rid of what you need to have a healthy flow of all your systems.
Believe me, I had some bad habits myself and it took my hair coming out (I had to wear a wig for a while) for me to stop. All the talk about heart failure and all of that didn't bother me until I started to lose my crowning glory. Losing hair is a devastating thing, especially for a chick and especially for a young chick (but what the #%@&!, ANY age a chick losing her hair is awful), and losing teeth REALLY sucks! (This never happened to me, but I shudder even thinking about it).
If you are wanting to be slim and sexy there are other ways to do it besides purging, and there are even more hardcore ways to do it with all sorts of funky tricks you can do that doesn't involve losing parts of you that are importnat (like your teeth and hair!)
If you want, you can PM and I can tell you cool things I have learned. And I used to have a problem with purging too, so I totally know where you are coming from.

You're right. And I came to the conclusion that I've got to stop NOW because I'll always have the feeling that I could stop anytime, until I realize it's too late. So, I'll try my best to stop. I knew about health consequences before I even started but I was kinda thinking "oh well, this won't happen to me!" but it looks like I was wrong and I know that it will only get harder to stop the longer I wait. Maybe it's just what I needed to realize that. From now on, I'm at least going to really limit it to uhm once a month?!

limit it to once a month at first and then increase it by a week at a time, so you have 5 weeks, then 6 weeks, 7 weekd, etc. between purges until you aren't doing it at all.
That is, if you think you can't stop cold turkey.
that's my crowley advice
