So from Friday through Sunday I ate like I shouldn't. On top of that I didn't put off time to go to the gym. I've been pretty busy these last few weeks. Actually I think that sqeezing in gym time has been what's made things seem so busy and non-stop. Anyway, I don't have any logical excuse for not going to the gym. For the eating, I didn't get to the grocery store and was out and about so much. The only times I was home was to sleep. So I ate with friends are all the wrong places and had "just this once" meals a couple times. So today I went back to the gym and got back on track with my diet.

Now for something I shouldn't say. My God did it feel good to just eat like a horse. Pizza, fried food, etc. Man it was good, but no more. Luckily I didn't gain any weight, but thinking of how I could've lost weight instead of maintained kind of makes me angry.

So... anyway... rant over.

Hey, Ricky!

Kudos to you for getting back on the wagon. We all fall off of it from time to time, and that's OK. The important thing is that you get back up and keep going.

I had a bit of a two-week splurge myself last month, and ending up maintaining for two weeks. I even went out to a Chinese buffet, and ate foods that I had probably forgotten the taste of.

Looking back, I realized that it was probably for the best. We all need a break, and not depriving ourselves entirely of the foods we love best will likely increase our chances of success long-term.

This is a lifetime journey! So...don't sweat a few days.

Well you went back to your routine is that matters. Like crimson said you can't deprive yourself or when you do go off the beaten path it will be 10 times worse
