I just don't have a ton of [consecutive] time every day. When doing moderately intense cardio (on an elliptical machine, in particular), is it just as effective to break it up into three ten minute sessions? I've heard some conflicting arguments on this one...anybody have a final answer? (Sorry if this has been asked 1,000 times before). Thanks :)

The first few minutes of a cardio workout are a 'build-up' time in which your system gets up to a workout threshold. Therefore they represent a greater percentage of a shorter workout than of a longer.
If you could manage 20 minutes twice, that would be better.
However, what you're doing is better than nothing. You will burn calories and you will gain some conditioning - just not as quickly.

| Cool, twenty minutes is do-able. Thanks for the reply!
