Im confused about calories.
Say i eat a bowl of cerale and a Iced Coffe, and for lunch i each a pack of chips or a can of soup, and for dinner i eat some meatloaf and sweet tea. lets say that equals up to a total of like 800 calories, in order to lose weight, i have burn more calories then what i take in? so if im on the tredmil it has to show that i have burned more than 1000 in order to loose my weight in the time frame i want i have to burn 850 more calories? so i have to burn 1650 calories a day to reach my goal?

Hi. You are forgetting your daily calorie needs, see Calculating Daily Calorie Needs
Figure them out, then subtract your food calories to get your deficit.
Oh, and 800 calories is too low, see What It Takes to Lose It All
