Hi my name is jennifer I am looking for some online support during my weight loss. I am battling junk food badly. I've spent all my life eating it. I joined a gym on January 10. I go do my 30 minute workout 3-5 times a week. I have lost 4 pounds since I joined.I just feel so alone in this battle my gym told me this website is a very good tool to use and I hope so. I am trying but it is very hard I work full time not to mention I have a family to take care of.So if anyone out there is feeling alone during thier journey as well please contact me thank you

You're definitely not alone here!  I just found this site and became a member of the forum today.   Looks like you're a few steps ahead of me!  I haven't joined a gym...  but I intend on taking daily walks through the neighborhood...  

I hate the vending machines at my last job.   It's hard to stay away from them.   My battle has to do with stress.    It causes me to overeat.   And crave the worst food known to man (like Taco Bell).   I go through several days of eating very good, but then all it takes is 2 days of eating junk, and it's all derailed...

I agree that in order to succeed with this, we need a support system.    Right now, I'm single, and have no kids, so I'm definitely alone in this.  I need this this forum and will rely on it heavily.

 Keep it up. Today I had a very bad day and I was very tired. I wanted to go to starbucks so bad and get a million dollar coffee with extra whip cream :grin: skip the gym maybe go have margaritas anything but workout and deal with my family.:sad: That's sad but I had my slimfast hit the gym and I'm proud of myself. If you need encouragement I'm here because sometimes I need it too. It's not easy but last week I was 291 today I weighed in at 286.5 yesssss. I feel good. It was so worth going to the gym today. Keep on trying you'll get there. 25 pounds is not bad. I started my journey in November and weighed 319 now I'm 286.5. I have to lose 1/2 my body weight so it gets very hard at times. I should be 165 so keep it up.

Congratulations on starting the journey Jennifer!  I have only been a member here for a short time and already have reaped so many benefits.  I have battled food my entire life and am now headed toward victory.  Use the tutorial on this site to start with and ask questions.  There are so many knowledgable people here, use them.  Good luck!
