I love living in Australia in summer - such a great variety of food!

I notice a lot of people still mention eating a lot of processed /packaged food and I guess there are a number of reasons.  Old habits, lack of time to prepare fresh food and lack of availability of fresh fruit and veg.

So tonight we had a steak lovers salad, that is spinach, green lettuce, green beans, onion and mushrooms (lightly fried in a dash of olive oil) red capsicum and a piece of grilled eye fillet, about 150g each - sliced with a djon mustard and lemon juice dressing.

For dessert I chopped up, one mango, one apricot, some pineapple and added green grapes, red grapes, blueberries and raspberries with a dollop and low fat plain yoghurt

YUM!:chewing:  Oh and my daughters boyfriend did the dishes:wink:
