After 2 weeks of dry salads, or lemon or lime juice dressing....I needed to do something! So I'm at the Whole Foods market yesterday (love that place so much I should buy their stock!) and I walk down the condiment aisle and finds rows upon rows of different vinegars in the cutest little bottles. How did I miss this all these years? Here I've been so obsessed with the flavored oil section that I never even noticed it!
Since I've all but cut oil out of my life, I decide to give these no cal little wonders a try. Wow! A splash of Champagne Citrus Vinegar on my salad last night, and I'm in heaven! A splash of Vanilla Vinegar on my strawberries last night.....who knew?! Each day, I'm learning it doesn't have to be bland or boring to eat healthy, just a little creativity and thought outside the box.
Any other suggestions for jazzing up the daily raw spinach??

Flavored vinegars are suggested in the Eat To Live diet plan I talk about on my website because it's the plan I like for myself.

| Agreed, flavored vinegars are the way to go. Couldn't imagine using any ordinary salad dressing ever again. The best I've found are made by Cuisine Perel like fine wine (cuisineperel.com). They only sell wholesale, but their products are available in some upmarket stores and online at Gourmet Country (gourmetcountry.com). My favorites are Black Fig and Blood Orange; Spicy Pecan is also amazing.
