Hey i don't know if you guys have tried this one, but after doing this exercise my butt was so much firmer! If i may say so myself
getting to the point.. squeeze the large muscles of both cheeks together slowly 10 times then 10 quick fast ones and repeat until you can do no more:) I am not sure if you get it because it is hard to explain but its easy to do while sitting at work or standing in the supermarket line (you might get some funny looks from behind though) if any one can explain it better please do

Sounds a reasonable idea, but might be disconcerting for the person who's queueing behind you!
Seriously, lunges (even cheat lunges holding onto a chair back) are great for glutes, and will give better results faster. Add the 'supermarket-clench' workout to accelerate results, by all means, but be prepared for some comments, unless you're extremely surreptitious when you do it.

At the risk of indelicacy, people standing behind you may presume that you have just eaten beans, or a really strong curry, and are attempting to avoid being antisocial - if you see what I mean!

| Another exercise for the butt and thighs is to do a wall sit. Prop your back against the wall and slide down until your knees are just over your feet at a 90 degree angle. Hold as long as possible. You may need to start in 10-15 second increments and build up to it. It's more difficult than it seems.

I bet if a bunch of us did these little butt-crunches while online with CPH we could make a huge difference and no one would be the wiser! Hmmm. Another challenge?

haha i work as a cashier at a grocery store. i could spend all day doing these crunch things. but yes. very awkward moment for you and the person behind you. they would be like *whistles "weirdo"* =D
but yes i could try doing that while i sit here at my pc.
oh i could do it at school too at my desk. my friends would be like "cheeto, what aree you doing?'' i would be like "oh nothing just firming my butt" =D
