1seekspie again in need of another answer .

I think I have a reasonable estimate of how many calories I'm eating daily based on how many carbohydrates I consume, but I'm not sure. Today I wasn't very hungry so I estimated that I roughly ate...oh about 150 carbohydrates or less. I'm not sure if this calculation is accurate but wouldn't I multiply this by 4 to get the number of calories I consumed? If so then this would mean I only consumed 600 calories. I know this is way below what I should be eating (5,3 and 106 pounds + age 14) so I've come to the conclusion that either:

I'm eating WAY LESS then I should be or...

I miscalculated.

I'm not completely sure and this has been bugging me for a while now. My mom insists I'm eating a lot more and says that there was more then 600 calories in the dinner we ate. I really don't think this is right because all I ate was a slab of fried catfish with some ripe cantaloupe. Besides, my mom is on the low carb diet and she thinks something with 10 CARBS per serving is too much so I seriously doubt there's that many calories in a freaking cat fish! But, you can never be too careful so have I indeed miscalculate somehow?

All 3 macronutrients have calories: Calories in Protein, Fat and Carbohydrates

You could use the Food Calories & Nutrition Calculator  to add your food for the day.
