Hi
Its been a while since I posted something here. I can tell cause I gained 20 lbs . Well thats the past and I am preparing my diet for monday and this time I will do it. I need some information. I looked all over and I can't seem to find how many calories there is in a home made egg roll. I put cabage, celery, onions and white meat, no skin in my egg rolls. I do cook them in oil, its the only way i know how. Then i freeze them. I really wan't to watch my calorie intake next week. Would any body know how much calories there could be in my egg rolls. . I will let you guys know how i am making out.
Thanks for this site. its wonderful

| It is only a guess, but in the region of 200 - 250 calories per 100g, mostly on account of being fried in oil.

Hmmm, egg rolls,.....just thinking about that tasty fat(oil) and crunchy crispy mass makes me feel hungrier!

At a bit of a tangent...
I have not binged for over 90 days. My last binge was at a Thai food buffet whilst on a day visit to London. Most of my food selections were healthy - various 'meat' made from soy, and steamed or stir-fried vegetables. However I also had quite a few mini 'spring rolls', and it was depressing - I was simultaneously enjoying their crunchiness whilst knowing that the crunchiness was caused by being deep-fried and most probably the unhealthiest thing I was eating.
Despite eating mostly healthy foods, the problem was that I did not want to listen to my body, which was telling me that, not only was I not hungry, but I was actually quite full and stuffed. After all, I had already paid for my meal - any extra food is free. I had more than 5 full plates. I was in a lot of stomach pain for the next few hours - and I lost my abstinence. I spent the rest of the day obessing about the possibility of bingeing on ice-cream - I came back to my senses after a night's sleep.

fsahurie,
It would be better to post such a question under a new topic, but since you ask.
It is only a mystery to those who have not taken the time to find out. If you are sincerely interested, begin by reading The Value of Keeping a Food Journal. Then keep one for a few weeks.
I believe you will discover your answer!
