Is it true that when you have a c-section, you will never loose that awful pouch located in the lower abdomen?
I have no feeling in my lower abdomen since I had a c-section. I really want to lose the pouch without getting surgery! If anyone have any tips or exercises that are effective, please help me out!!!

| I also had a c-section and I too are suffering with the pouch. I heard a while back that if you do sit ups and an exercise that involves laying on your stomach, grabbing your ankles and rocking back and forth that you will tone that pouch. In my experience it felt good afterwords to stretch like that, but it also made my incision site sore again. I have been having problems with mine wanting to break open again because I have really thin skin. You ca try these exercises though and see if you get a result. Good luck though.....:P

Hiya i had my c-section 17 months ago alomst and still have that pouch i hate it, i go to the gym, and although it has got loads better its still there and im still concious of it, i hate to wear bikinis, even though everyone says its not that bad and ive had a baby what do i expect!!
I think to get rid of it completley a tummy tuck is the way to go, as no amount of excersise will ever get rid of it.

| I had a c-section too and have the same problem... but the pouch isn`t that big... it`s almost invisible. I believe that it depends on how the operation is done in the first place. Even though I`ve heard that the pouch will never disappear entirely because the muscles that hold it were cut.

i have had five kids and i had them all naturally. I have a pouch too, so i dont think it has anything to do with the C section itself, but the pregnancies. I have been exercising and keeping fit since febuary and i have noticed that it isnt as bad as it used to be, but i really dont think i will ever have a flat stomach.. but you know what.. who cares lol.. seriously having kids takes it toll on ur pre pregnancy body, and i think we all have to just adjust and except the changes that we go thru. Learn to love your bodies ladies.. having babies is what they were designed to do.. dont sweat the small stuff..

I had a myomectomy and two c- sections and was really concerned about the "pouch". I asked my trainer about it and was told that cardio......mostly running would be the best way to get the pouch under control, and also to work on the "core muscles". It has been six years since my first sugery, and almost two years since my last. I have been spinning 5 times a week, running and doing yoga regularly for 5 months, the pouch is noticeably smaller (I see it, but my husband says I perceive it as bigger than it actually is), and I have actually been getting feeling back there. I really hope it disappears all together.
Good luck!
