Okay so I started working out a lot towards the end of February O6' and was 284 lbs. I've been going Mon-Fri since for about two hrs each day and I alternate upper body and lower body stuff over the week (mon, upper body, tues. legs, etc.) And i always do 1hr and a half of cardio everyday. So far as of July 8 06' I've lost 46 pounds, and it put me at 238 and I'm thrilled. However over about the past 4 weeks since then i can't seem to get under 238. I went on vacation for about a week in july and gained like 5 pounds and then lost it as soon as i got back but now it seems like every week i try to change something in my routine and i'm still at 238. My overall goal weight for my BMI i believe is like 170 so yeah i got a while to go but at this rate i feel like im never gonna make it. The only thing I can think of is that my eating habits aren't strict enough. On the weekends I always just eat whatever and work it off the next week and that's been working for me up till now. Is it time to go full throttle with the eating (i.e. eat as healthy as i can EVERYDAY)? I usually don't eat breakfast AND lunch so that i can have a big dinner so could that have something to do with it? Maybe I'm not eating enough throughout the day. I'm constantly increasing weight (when im ready of course) at the gym to try to challenge myself but it doesn't seem to have an effect on me anymore as far as for weightloss. And drinking my daily serving of water is no problem, but over the weekend the soda craving always seems to get the better of me. I figured my no-so-strict eating on the weekends decision would get the better of me eventually but I'm just not sure, I mean there's no way im giving up, i've come way too far, but what can i do to keep moving forward or what am i doing wrong that's holding me back? Thanks a lot! (sorry this is so extensive, it's just really aggravating! lol.)

If you were eating the right number of calories (not too many, not too few) to lose weight at 284lb, then they might now be too much to continue losing at 238lb (you're now 84% of the weight you used to be, have you reduced your eating by that amount?) On the other hand if you were restricting yourself too much, your metabolism may have caught up with you. You won't really know what's going on unless you monitored yourself. Have you considered counting calories? If you post your total, we could analyse whether your intake is ideal for your objective. Having more calories at the weekend can be a positive thing (heard of zig-zagging?) so long as you don't take it above your maintenance calories.

I haven't been keeping a log...other than in my head. But I definetly haven't decreased my calorie intake with my weightloss. I didn't even think of that. So perhaps by trying that I'll start seeing results again.
