Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me out. To start im 160pounds, 15 years old. When im bored or trying to make time fly by I think of eating. Why do i think of eaitn...im not hungry? Also....You see I really hate things that my mom makes for us (Cooking). It taste good , but it has to many bad things  for me. Like she uses to much butter on some stuff, or to many things that are bad. I know I have to eat. I eat a small portion, but they somehow (My parents) manage to convince me to eat another servings. I take it and regret it. I really need help on trying to control my self, on what I eat Also when she buys cookies, chips, those kinds of junk food. I have like 4 brothers. Its really hard trying to ignore them while they eat chips. I think to my self...*Ill just get 3 chips that wont hurt me.* Then 3 become 6, 6 to more then originally intended. I really dont know how to control my self. 

    Also My sister keeps telling me, and my parents,  that I have an Anorexia problem. I dont....or i think i dont. Is it wrong to watch what I eat? I do, I watch how many calories and stuff. She keeps saying it, my Mom believes her and im stuck in a dead end. Were the only thing I can do is eat something so my parents wont feel bad about me. Also when im trying to make time go by a little faster I ea I really want to do something about all this. Can anyone help me?

I have the same problem, no self control.  About 5 months ago I started a diet, lost ALOT of weight, and had surgery.  I had to eat bread and cracker and stuff that I wasn't supposed to because it was the only thing my stomach could take.  AFter I could eat any way I wanted to, it was sooo hard to get back on a diet! I tried and tried and kept failing.  I thought I should just give up.  But you are on a diet for a reason right?  You want to take care of yourself and you want to look and/or feel good.  The world will always be against you.  They don't have self control so they try and make sure you don't.  Its not easy.  Thats why so many people are overweight.  But you CAN do it.  Ask you mother if you can help prepare dinner sometime and then you will be able to make things a little heathier.  My fiancee doesn't try to diet, he just bulks up on muscle so he eats whatever he wants.  So I always try to say oh if he is cheating so will I.  But we aren't the same person, or have the same bodies.  Your brothers dont have what you have-the desire to change.  So when they are eating chips and other bad food, just leave the room, do something else, it only takes 10-15 minutes for a craving to subside and you will be surprise how you will feel when you avoid the temptation!!!  Hang in there, we are all here to help you and you are not wrong for wanting to do better for yourself.  They are wrong for not encouraging you.  One last note:  I would never want to say bad things about your mom but I can sympathize with you.  One time my family was all going shopping and I couldn't go, I asked my mom to pick up a pair of jeans for me and told her I needed a size three (where I was a while ago :D)  She looked at me weird and said you don't wear a size three, all of your jeans are fives.  I was so hurt because I really did wear a size three and had worked hard to do so.  People will always want you to fail and even though its your family, sometimes they (and we) have a hard time not being jelous, its just human nature!!!

You need to find things to do  to keep busy.  If you go outside to walk when your brothers eat junk food then their eating junk food is making you healthier.  You have friends you can call on the phone when your bored and need something to do who are also watching their weight?  How about reading?  self, fitness, shape, go to a bookstore and buy a fitness magazine. just put dot com on any of those and you can sign up for free newsletters.  Got a dog take them out for a walk.  get a hobby needlepoint, knitting, crocheting.  Maybe sewing. If you don't know how then maybe your mother or sister could teach you.  I don't know how this works but the playstations have a dance dance revoltion that's suppose to be fun.
