So I am 210 lbs. I used to be 270 is lost 100 lbs and gained some of it back which is all my fault. But I can't seem to drop anymore weight. I exercise daily 60 minutes cardio weight training 2x a week and walking an hour when I don't go to the gym. I tried everything but the weight doesn't seem to want to come off I even starved myself for 3 days. Yes, I know that isn't healthy. But I did manage to lose some weight by doing it. I don't want to be fat anymore it's so gross I am disgusted with myself.

What is your normal calorie intake (when you are not starving yourself)

What strategy did you use to effectively lose 100lb?

I would say about 1,000 to 1,200 in that range. I ate less only palm sized portions of protien. No red meats, no bread, tons of veggies and exercised. I also had a personal trainer which I can no longer afford.

Calculators guess that your energy requirements to stay the same are about 2000 (assuming no exercise). If your calorie estimates are right, so you have created quite a large deficit through a combination of eating not much and exercising, and your body has learnt to compensate for your tricks.

(Of course if you don't count your calories it is also possible that you just don't know how much you are eating, eating more than you think)

That rapid weight loss scheme can only work for so long before one gets stuck. the solution is to eat a bit more (but still at a deficit). Your weight loss won't be as fast but it will happen and be more manageable
