I'm a 14 year old girl nearly 15 and I weigh just over 13 stone this really brings down my self confidence I ve looked at many of these sites and they all say exercise and diet but I do 6 hours of dancing a week as well as two hours of p.e I've also tried running. I also eat healthy by eating fruit and veg and not eating things with alot of sugars in . I really wanna be a dancer/ actress and I really wanna loose weight so I can feel better about myself and won't feel embarrassed to dance because of my size. Any advice will be helpful please help me. |

If you want to see results you are going to eat an appropriate amount of calories not to little and not too much. Probably 1200-1400 a day. It is all very well to "eat healthy" but if you don't somehow track your calorie intake then how will you know if you are eating too many or too few of those foods (healthy or otherwise). You can track with a smartphone App or a calorie counting website. There are even installable programs for your computer and if all else fails there is pen and paper. |

Yes. A couple of days at 900 are not the end of the world but if you get your body used to that level of intake then your body will just learn how to function on a lower intake. You won't actually lose faster you'll just require fewer calories. Great if you want to save money on food not so great if you actually want to eat. I suggest 1100 as the lowest to consider going down to. |
