Hello,
My sister  is  thinking about having nose surgery when  she older since her  nose is too long and crooked. Is there any bad things that would result in surgery such as breathing problems or anything painful? Also, how much does nose surgery usually cost around??

You have to consult surgeons about this matter so that you will be guided. As far as I know some hospitals charges about $7,500 depending of the hospital you want the surgery to be done or some private practitioners can charge more for that...

There are no side effects of nose surgery but it is very costly for middle class people. The total expenses of nose surgery are approximately 8,000 US dollars. If you are facing serious problem with your nose then nose surgery is essential otherwise avoid surgery. You should take care of your nose because it is the most important organ of body and helps in respiratory system.

Hello Sean, nose reshaping(rhinoplasty) can work well with your sister, there will be no serious side effects as long as the surgery is made by a trusted and expert surgeon. The  temporary side-effects of nose reshaping may include: soreness, swelling and minor nose bleeds.

My friend had a nose surgery at Manipal Hospital in India, we were lucky to find an affordable package from a medical tourism online(PlacidWay.com), and they arrange everything for us, from the time of our arrival to the reservation and appointment on the hospital. After the surgery she felt a little puffy and the area around her eyes and nose were bruised and swollen for several days, but the doctor says it's normal, it takes about 2-3 weeks before most of the swelling and bruising improves. The approximate cost of the surgery if I'm not mistaken is $1900 USD only, done by an expert surgeons. Goodluck to your sister!
