How effective is L-Carnatine as a weight loss supplement? I asked for a weight loss supplement at Vitamin World and was directed to Precision Engineered Triple Strength L-Carnitine. After purchasing the product (I still have my receipt and it is still unopened), and read that it is likely that I am already digesting all the L-Carnitine I need through my normal diet. About myself, I am at roughly 20% body fat. I am not morbidly obese, but I have more fat than optimal and would like to trim down to 10% or less. I am currently eating a low-carb, high protein diet and eat plenty of fish and chicken in addition to daily excercise. Did I just buy very expensive urine, or should I take L-Carnitine as a supplement to help lose weight? Should I take it or get a refund? Health supplements are expensive and I would rather not waste my money on products that will act as nothing more than a placeabo or will be fully expelled from my body without adding any weight loss assistance. |
