During my recovery from Anorexia I gained not only the weight I needed to get myself healthy again but also quite a bit extra. I still struggle with the urges that come from my eating disorder and I do not want to fall back into that trap so I am trying to make a plan for me to lose the extra weight I put on during recovery in a safe and healthy way while also getting back into shape. My plan is to eat a healthy balanced vegetarian diet and exercise not only until I reach my goal weight but also after ive reached that point so that I can live a healthy life instead of one that centers around what I do or more so in my case what I dont eat.

I am strongly on your side to fight against anorexia! Slowly you will bring back the joy of eating without the morbid fear of gaining weight.

Hi, it seems this is an old thread but I wonder how your weight loss efforts have gone if you are still around? I am in the same situation and gained quite a bit extra weight and want to get back down to where I was (20 lbs ago...) but I am afraid my body doesn't want to let go of any weight right now...how did you lose weight?
