I have researched and researched and can not find a diet that works with all the above problems, any suggestions. I know I am in bad shape.

I see that you are from the South. You live in a gluttonous culture.

You are making excuses.  The truth of the matter is this, you are eating nearly twice as many calories as you should.

Every human on earth is on a diet. You don't need a diet. You need a weight loss plan and a fattitude adjustment.

The simple answer is for YOU to cut your calories in half. You are eating in the 4000 calorie range now in order to maintain 220 pounds. You weigh more than a lot of football players.

I am not a doctor but I would guess that the bad numbers are in part due to your weight and partly due to the medications you are on.

Why is your hemoglobin so low? Did your MD tell you? It sounds like you have pernicious anemia. I suspect that you have an internal bleed. American doctors suck so it may take a long time to get an answer. I will not advise you to take iron as you are post menopausal. You may need it but you need the proper testing. I would advise you to take a potent B complex.

Here are normal hemoglobin levels for a woman your age.
Women after middle age: 11.7-13.8 gm/dl

You cholesterol numbers are bad. You quack/MD probably has you on Statin cholesterol drugs. Switch to fish oils or krill oil and STOP eating red meat and pork IS red meat. Pork BBQ is deadly.

I suspect that is you make some changes most of your health problems will resolve. I also suspect that like most people you are too lazy to change. Restore my faith in humanity and prove me wrong and get healthy and lean. You CAN do it. It it doesn't happen it will only be a matter of WON'T.

Stop sucking up valuable medical resources from people who are sick through no fault of their own.:pig:

First, I am male not female. Secondly my doctor has scheduled me for a colonscopy to determine if there is something there causing the low red blood count. No I am not from the south, I am in the mid-atlantic. My average calory intake is less than 2400. I am also trying to go to a low carb diet as well. A lot of my problem is the meds I know that. Now I will admit my exercise program is about nil. I take four 1200 mg of fish oil capsules a day, plus zeta, and yes a statin lipitor 80 mg. I am in the advance stage of COPD and excercise is limit. With Diabetes caused by meds and other problem I am having problems finding a diet to meet all the requirements And I thought this was a place for a person to come to get some help not get put down. I see I was wrong. Thanks but no thanks.

May I suggest you pick up (on Amazon, at your local library etc.) a book called "Eat To Live" by Dr Joel Fuhrman
