I'm a 26 year old female trying to lose around 60lbs. I started about 7 weeks ago changing my lifestyle. No more sodas or sweet teas, no bad foods, strict portion control, cardio and strength training. I had a personal trainer design a few workouts for me so I am getting what I need but not doing the same thing each time. I'm eating enough calories to prevent my body from thinking it is starving. I'm doing everything correctly and yet I weigh the same now as I did when I played on the computer all day and ate whatever and whenever I wanted? I'm not losing inches either. I had blood work a few weeks ago so I know I have no thyroid issues. I don't have diabetes, high blood pressure or any other illnesses or diseases.
What gives? This is disheartening. :( I'm eating foods I really am not fond of, exercising regularly (which is no fun), not cheating or overeating and yet nothing seems to be happening? I mine as well eat what I want and do nothing if I get the same results.
Sorry, I am just frustrated. I have really low self-esteem and the weight does not help and now that I'm trying to lose it, it does not matter.
