Reeducate your palates.

It's a given. If you are fat you didn't get that way by being responsible, vigilant or self-disciplined. You go for foods that are easy to eat that appeal to your boorish tastes. You gotta stop that if you want to lose weight and have good health.

I watch how you people eat and frankly it's revolting. I see what you put into your grocery carts and what you cram into your pie holes.:pig: It's bad!

It's OK if you find pleasure in food but the pleasure you fatties find is hedonistic pleasure and instant gratification and therein lies the problem. You're vulgar.

Here is your assignment.

By to following foods.

Broccoli, Romaine Lettuce, Apples, Plums, Carrots, Peaches, Green beans, Spinach

Eat a mouthful of every one of these foods and instead of wolfing them down like a pig during one of your usual feeding frenzies, savor the tastes and eat them slowly. Then think about making some form of contrition for you many years of bad behavior.

Report back to me.

Aren't peaches done for the year? How about a pear?
What kind of contrition do you recommend ?

You can still find peaches but pears would be fine.

As to contrition, strive for humility and atone.

Who have I hurt, other than my spouse? If anything, the weight loss and dealing with the issues as they've come up have brought us closer

As far as pennance, atonement whatever, Taking care of my uncle is enough. I learned a long time ago that pride is like a swimming pool - sounds really nice to have until you realize how much keeping it up requires.I'm sure others are coming to the same conclusion these days.

Your spouse sounds like a remarkable guy. IMO you should not only lose the weight who should get hot looking for him to make up for all he endured.

Pride is considered one of the deadly sins. Look up the deadly sins and the heavenly virtues.

What do you think he endured?

As far as getting hot, I'll have to work with what I've got since cosmetic surgery is out of the budget and I'm 35. That's the reason I focus on health and athletic progress, theres' only so much progress I can make in the looks department.

You'd have to be a man to understand.

Sheesh... now I know how malficent on that other board felt. I could be 105 pounds with 10 % body fat and I will still not be hot. Unless it's in comparison to the majority of overweight I guess.?é?á Some of it can be?é?á fixed ( I'm?é?á really hoping?é?á loose skin is one of the things that can?é?á be )?é?á?é?á Some of it?é?á can't (not without botox, I'll pass)?é?á

And as far as?é?á "endured"?é?á I?é?á was fat when we started dating. He said it was ok . I'm?é?á glad he changed his mind but it wasn't like I was?é?á trying to "catch a man" (Gag) .?é?á Frankly I never expected us to actually?é?á be "the one" for each other until it happened. However I am trying to understand.?é?á

Edited to add: Started looking up Suzanne since she mentions some neat cooking gadgets in her book. Looking for her website, I found she's had a LOT of work done. Not exactly realistic for us commoners :P

Most men would pick the butter face. When the fat girl here, Joy Nash, were to take off that blue body shaper it would get a whole lot worse.

Here calves look like.... well calves :cow:

I didn't know Tom Petty had a sister!
But seriously, would you call her "hot"?
