I'm 16 and I've recently lost 35lbs. I was originally 6'1", Now, I'm about 5'11" - 6'0". Does losing weight have connections on the loss of my height too? I've read recent articles saying, "Losing Height may have connections to weight loss." The thing is, these articles don't seem to supply many facts or research on the matter. I'm asking for your general opinion on this.

| Not sure if a 30 pound weight loss affects this but the Actor Ron Lester from Varsity Blues lost two inches of his height from fat from the top of his head and the bottoms of his feet when he lost 315 pounds via gastric bypass.

Did you measure yourself at the same time each day? Your height changes throughout the day, and you can end up being 1 to 2 inches shorter at the end of the day then you were in the morning. It could just be that.
