Did any of you successful losers have knee pain that went away when you lost?
I've lost a lot of weight before, but I did regain. And when I lost before I did not have knee pain while heavy, but now I do.
So I'm wondering if this problem will go away (fingers crossed) when I lose weight again.

| It might go away. Also one good thing about former-overweight is that you now have developed leg muscles from carrying excess weight.

| It might. I just started dieting and in a week my knee feels SO much better. I couldn't even bend it before like squat. Going up stairs hurt it too. It was only my left knee. After a week of dieting, it is feeling better everyday. But I weigh over 400 lbs so hehe, I couldn't tell you about the end result. Maybe in a year!

May not be the same thing but for what it's worth:
My ankles used to be the problem. It seems like I used to twist an ankle every couple of months and it would hurt for days. Doesn't happen anymore. I stepped in a hole in the dark Friday night, and the pain was gone within about 10 minutes.
