Hello everyone
I am a 35 year old male from Wales, and have been over weight since I was about 11. I am quite a tall person at 6 2" so the weight has always been spread about quite a bit. At this moment in time I weigh 233lbs (weighed this morning).
I have threatened for years to get in shape but it always gets put off untill next week, thats the solution, I will start on Monday. Well, that's what I always said to myself and it never happened. I gave up smoking at the beginning of the year and am very proud of myself for doing so because I smoked for nearly 20 years. So, if I can give up the ciggies for 6 months without caving in a single time, I know I can lose weight if I really want to, and I really want to.
So, I have recently bought myself a bicycle to get me more active and have started eating a lot more healthy. I have also started drinking a lot more water which helps my urges to over-eat.
I would love to get down to around 170lbs give or take a few but, my initial goal will be losing maybe 15lbs or even 20lbs (maybe that is too optimistic) and just feeling more healthy before my holiday in September which will involve a fair bit of walking.
So that's enough from me, I hope to get to know some of you good people in time
