Anyone have any? I'm about to ram a screwdriver into my head, here. If I had any food in my room I'd be eating it soooo fast...but I don't. And I don't want to hear anyone say "oh, go exercise, it releases tension and anger!" BS. B. Effing. S. When does that work for anyone? When I'm PO'd I can't focus on my workout and it just builds up to where I kick the stupid bike and go shower. And frankly, the exercise idea is highly impractical. It's really hard to bust out some cardio at work or in the middle of the night, especially when the source of your stress isn't leaving any time soon. Taking eleven showers a day is also a very bad idea, for your skin and for your wallet and for "the environmenttttttttttt". I just don't know what to do anymore. If only I had some unisom or something.

Awesome, I've always been looking for stuff like this. More effective than trying to find half-hour trance music songs that don't give me nightmares :cat:

Okay, nothing on the planet is helping, and now every time I get even slightly stressed out I get incredibly nauseous and feel like throwing up. What the #%@&! am I going to do? Besides go on a massive killing spree?

I am hoping to be enrolled in a research study to see whether Neurofeedback ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neurofeedback ) can help me.

But unless/until it starts I'm still stuck with cheaper and more available techniques like breathing deeply

sometimes turning everything off is enough to calm me down

I haven't tried the killing spree option

Good, because you're pretty much the only rock around here. I don't think you'd have enough time in between telemarking duties in prison to come here anymore :(

I am in a chronic pain class and this has seem to help me. Try doing something pleasurable everyday and write it down. On scale 1-10 write down how  much you think you will enjoy it and then how much you actually did enjoy it. Also try a body scan meditation 2 times a day. I have alot of stress due to my chronic knee pain and my son having autism. I have been doing this for a couple weeks and really have noticed a difference with how I handle it
