Hello I'm Mari. Long term sufferer of a negative body image. I've spent most of my life trying to lose weight. I've always counted calories and obsessed about food. Restricting my intake to well below healthy amounts which have, without fail, let to binges and overeating. I've decided to stop counting calories and stop obsessing about food and hopefully stop my weight yo-yo-ing once and for all. It's nice to be here and hopefully i'll find support and learn some new things that will help me develop a better relationship with food and weight.

 hi mari,
your story seems exactly like mine :tongue:......i am doing fat loss 4 idiots diet..and have lost 37 lbs with it !!!!  the amazing thing about this diet is that i am eating foods which i would not even dream of!!!!  i have decided to make this diet my lifelong eating policy...it does not create frustration and irritability which comes with other very restrictive diets....the only thing which is restricted is bread, pasta rice......that too you can have after 11 days (ie during your 3 cheat days )
we meet at fl4i general discussion thread ...good motivating people out there....and pretty active forum at times....good luck ahead :thumbsup::thumbsup:
