Really, why is it that you want to lose weight?
I mean it all starts with a vision and a goal.
The reason I want to get a little more slim is so that I can be more athletic and play more sports.
I also want to look good at the beach without having to wear a t shirt in the blazing sun (embarrassment).
Why do you want to shed that poundage?
Take care,
Dave R.

I want to lose 20lbs so I can fit back into my cloths. I am ashamed that I gained weight back after losing.
The first time I lost was cause I looked and felt bad. I couldn't even walk across the room without getting out of breath. So, I just did it....
Hope to do it once again or least enough to fit in my cloths again.

I know what you mean, I've been fluctuating in weight constantly throughout the entire year... very frustrating and annoying i must admit..
I've been discouraged so many times just by looking in the mirror... eventually i used my mind to psyche myself out and stick to it.

| I want to be desirable again to the opposite sex, as well as kick my sleep apnea that apparently my weight has caused me. Somehow along the way I stopped feeling good about myself and therefore my confidence disappeared. I do feel it coming back slowly.

I want to lose about 15 to 20 pounds because I want to:
1. Be able to chase my two nieces and nephew around without becoming winded
2. Fit into my clothes
3. Feel better about myself
4. I wan to be healthy!!!
I had surgery a few years ago (fibroids) and I have also switched jobs last year. I am a courier so I'm almost always sitting down. I'm also a full time student. My diet was ridiculous and next thing you know I gained weight that I don't want. I used to be really big when I was younger (13, 14ish). I lost the weight on my own and kept it off for about 20 years. I can do it again! I'm off to a good start.

I love to wear cute clothes and that is hard to do when you are overweight. I like to walk through a store and see a super cute shirt or skirt and want to try it on because I just know it will look great on me. When I see one now I just kind of feel sad cause I know it won't
Also I plan to have surgery and then try to conceive in Feb 2011. So obviously I want to be healthy for that. Plus I like being active and physically fit, I really enjoy stretching since I am naturally flexible and when I am in shape, trying to challenge my body's flexibility levels can be alot of fun!

I'm with you NineChoirs... When I'm even 15 lbs over weight, dressing room mirrors are a HORROR! And now I'm 30 lbs over.. ughh.
I want to lose weight to fit into the clothes that I JUST BOUGHT when I lost weight the last time. I want to be able to not think about how to conceal muffin top when I put on a pair of jeans... I HATE waste cinching devices... so uncomfortable & it takes too much work to go to the bathroom!
I want to look good in a bikini without a cover-up when I go to Jamaica in December.
I want my blood pressure to stay in a reasonable place because when I get over 165 it always goes up and I'm 170 now.

I want to avoid the health crises my family has had from poor eating.
I want to fly past the "serious cyclists" in their lycra and superlight bikes
At this point I'm getting close to "overweight". I've spent 10+ going from obese to morbidly obese and I want to try everything! I'm just starting to find out what my potential could be. All these years there really was a thin person inside of me and SUPRISE! She's an athlete!
