Okay ill start off simple.
I'm currently 16, male, 178cm(5'10), 65.5kg(144lb).
If my memory serves me properly around 18 months ago I was 15, 178cm(5'10) and 85.5kg(188.1lb).
So i guess ill start by explaining that i might seem pretty light now and you may not consider what i was as overweight but i can tell you...the fat was there and i was very unfit.
Over a period of around 12 months i lost all that weight.
So its possible. But 20kg(44lb) doesn't come off easy.
I learnt a few things about weightloss over the time and this is it.

1: as much as we wish there was, there is not an easy option.
2: your going to screw up at some point, whether you have a day where you pig out on bad food and don't exercise or go a week without lifting a finger...its inevitable...but make sure you pick yourself up and start again.
3: you need to start with the small things.

So i guess its best to explain what the key things to the weight loss where.

1: water, ahhh water, make it all you drink...not overnight but fairly quickly, for one thing it makes you feel better drink about 2 or 3 litres a day. Ween yourself off caffeine as well, its not beneficial to the body. Water not only makes you feel better it makes you feel less hungry. Trust me on this one.
2: Find your exercise. Its important you find something that works for you, it changed for me. I started out with cycling, then running, then pack training. But you need to exercise, just watching what you eat and drink won't do it all.
3: watch what you eat, i never counted calories but i was sensible, its not that hard, just look at something and think, hey does that have lots of fat or something? and cut down what you eat, eat plenty of fruits and vegies and if you buy lunch, make it something healthy instead of a burger or something.

So that's how i reckon it works people. I'm open to questions and criticism, i'd be interested to see your views on it all.
