I usually post in another forum... but I took Xenical and had success with it. I lost 25 lbs in 2.5 months on it. I stopped when I got pregnant. I haven't started it back because I have been breastfeeding.
My side effects were not too bad. When I did eat something that I shouldn't have I would have terrible cramps and have to use the bathroom... but other than that I didn't have the other stuff.

| Well I think your headaches may be from not eating enough. Have you considered this? Because the pill you are taking is exactly like the new pill Alli, I think Alli is smaller dose of it. When you get the pill it comes with a menu plan and you would be amazed with how much you can eat and still be under 15 g of fat per meal. For example a 6 egg white omelet with veggies in it is still under 15 g of fat and very filling. Good luck though!

| Whenever I don't eat enough I get horrible headaches and even when I do eat the headache stays. So this might definetly be it because I don't think there is anything in that pill that could contribut to that. It doesn't have caffeine, etc. And weight watchers is good. But don't take it overboard because it will just stall your weight loss. When you don't eat enough the body goes into starvation mode and holds onto the fat for "survival mode". So 5 g of fat just doesn't seem to be enough. It's so hard to get discouraged and just say oh screw this I'm going on the no eating diet!

Hello, I'm taking Xenical for one month , but I haven't lost my weight yet.I don't know what to do.Try another pill or just keep taking. When I see your post ," You lost 25 lbs in 2.5 months ", I'll take Xenical for 2.5 months.

| There really is no magic weight loss pill. Some are dangerous. Most are a waste of money. Be careful! Eat right and exercise. It'll eventually happen. Really it will.

| Yes , I once used "Slimax". Some people lost weight after using this pill. For me, I lost "hair" instead of "weight" . With Xenical,no serious side-effect except stool-color changing. I'm afraid of cancer and other health problems because of using diet-pill.But I want to lose my weight immediately. :)

Are you talking about Xenical (Orlistat as active ingredient)? Look that i have found about Xenical contraindication at this page x-cheap-pharmacy.com/drugs-info/xenical.html?kid=427
You may not take Generic Xenical if you have: an underactive thyroid; a history of pancreatitis; type 1 or type 2 diabetes; an eating disorder (anorexia or bulimia); if you take any other weight-loss medications (prescription or over-the-counter).
Have you discussed your medical condition before starting to take this drug?

I was prescribed Xenical yesterday and have started taking them (I ordered Xenical at Totaldrugs24.com ). I eat a very healthy breakfast, a reasonably healthy meals there after. It's snacking between meals that does it, especially at this time of night (10pm). Now I'm also going to try Phentermine
My question is that I know I can only take 3 a day, could I not take one after breakfast and take one at lunch, dinner and later in the evening?Last edited on 17 Jan 2009 03:37 pm by Brenda65
