Hi, I am an overweight single (long story you might have read it in one of the other threads). And I want to finish both-I want to lose weight as fast as possible and to get to know a new partner. Probably I need to lose weight first in order to get to know somebody new. One of my friends told me about a diet pill called kioslim. Does anybody know it?

You post is almost like my story, just a little different, I am overweight and now single, because I wanted my husband to dry out and go to a AA group but he decided to move out and continue to drink, oh well, I have decided to do something for myself and get back my slim figure.  But the big question HOW, I am not strong to just diet, so I have decided to take a diet pill for 1 month, just to get started, only I don't want to take anything bad, have you checked out alot of diet pills, Please let me know, I will also do some checking.

Hi Bigmama, I am so sorry. But I know exactly how you feel. It is pretty difficult to live on your own again after such a long time. Although it might sound weird but I think I tried to replace my husband by junk food and candies. This was wrong but I haven't realized it for quite a long time. Anyways now I really want to get back my old life and my slim figure - just like you.
Well my friend is quite satisfied with kioslim and she hasn't experienced any bad side effects. Have you also heard of that pill

I know how you feel and I think that we are both on the right track because we have realized that we need to change our life again. Well I don't have that much information about kioslim either but my friend told me that this pills helps you to reduce the appetite and that is isn't harmful at all. We could both try to find some more information in the interne.t What do you think?

Yeah I also thought so. You know what I am also going to try kioslim. I am going to order it tonight (right now I have to go to work and therefore I won't have any time). But I have good feeling about it. And the most important points it that it seems to be harmless. Do you know how long the ordering process is? And what about forwarding charges?

I ordered kioslim last night. It is quite expensive. I really hope that it is worth its money. Well but quality is usually expensive, isn't it?
Well I thought about doing a diet or joining a weight loss group at the same time. Have you ever done weight watchers for example? What are you going to do?
Yeah I also want to exercise although honestly I don't like sports at all. But I think I have to exercise at least a little bit...

I am going to find a group to join, I know weight watchers is supposed to be very good, but I don't know about doing all the point thing.  I am going to try Nordic walking, I have 2 dogs and I have to walk them, so maybe I can step it up a bit, I work 4 different shifts, so going to a gym is out of the question, do you have any ideas about exercising at home???

Well actually the point system is very easy I think. I used to do weight watchers  but unfortunately not very successfully. But maybe it would be different while taking a weight loss pill. I don't know. Do you know any other weight loss programs which might work?
Exercising at home...mhm pretty difficult. Maybe you could buy an aerobic video and try this!

Maybe you are right, that weight watchers would be easier at first if you start it with a diet pill, my kioslim should be here next week so I better come up with something, also that is a good idea about the video, that is something you could do at night. or on the weekend during the day, have to ask my girlfriend if she will do it with me, she could use the workout too.

That's what I thought too. Actually I think that weight watchers is quite a good program and you don't have to join all the group meetings. I think it should be possible to do it all by yourself at home too.
Yeah try it and let me know if you like it. You might also try pilates! I don't like it that much but maybe you do! And let me know when you get kioslim. I am looking forward to hear wheather you like it or not.

Hi Well I should be getting my kioslim any day now, a girl at work told me you can do weight watchers over the internet, I have to check that out, would be a really good thing, you don't have to go to the meetings.  Took my bike out this afternoon, and fixed it up, hope to put some miles on it, at least it would be a start.  Do you think biking would be good??

So have you already received kioslim? Weight watchers over the internet? I didn't known that. Do you also have to pay for it then? Would be great if it would be free of charge because we have to pay for the pill already :-) Yeah I think that biking is great. Especially for your butt :-) Unfortunately I am not able to bike because of my knees :-(

Yes I got mine today, will start on it tomorrow, can't wait, you should get yours soon, yes the online weight watchers is not for free, you have to pay for it, I am not sure how much, but I am not going to do that, starting biking today, was alot of fun, there is a lake not to far from here and I went there for a start.  Yeah, good for your butt, mine is very sore right now, maybe I better get one of those gel seats if I plan on taking longer rides.

Okay I will have a look at the weight watchers homepage anyways to chech how much it is. But maybe I will also find something else. I am glad that you enjoyed the biking tour!

Day 1**********   Took my Kioslim this morning with my breakfast,  decided to take it in the mornings, so that it can work all day, had a very good day at work.   Didn't tell anyone yet that I am doing a weight loss plan, I want to see how long it takes them to notice that I have lost weight.  At least I hope I lose.  I wasn't really that hungry, and I ate really healthy stuff, I am sorta proud of myself.  Will see how tomorrow goes.

:crying:I can relate. My ex drank too. After a lousy 13 years of an abusive marriage, I finally kicked him out. Its hard to start over..period. What makes it worse is the stress, which in turn can make a person depressed, which, in my case...made me eat. Im still a single Mom after 6 years. I had tried diet pills, exercising, diet after diet. I have been on the HCG weight loss program and finished my 6 weeks right before I turned 40 this past January. This, along with exercise and a healthy low cal diet has helped me to be the best Ive been in years. I am looking forward to doing another 3 weeks on the program to take the last "few" pounds off. Its hard to find someone you can trust and products that are what they are supposed to be. I have always been the skeptic. Not here. From experience, I can tell you this clinic that I got the program from is great. Its affordable and the staff is curtious and professional. REAL physicians and a very knowledgable staff. Im looking forward to doing my last round of the phase 2 injections. I feel so good at 40. Im also a grandma now! People tell me I dont look like a Grandma. Thats soo good to hear!

So Bigmama it seems like your new life has just begun! Please keep on posting. This is really intersting! My package of kioslim hasn't arrived yet. Do you think I should call them?

First of all, congratulations justlisa! I am sure that you are happy having a grandchild, aren't you?
I am sorry about your abortive marriage. I know how you feel. Whenever you need someone to talk to just write me a short message! Well but it seems like you get a grip on your life and you weight problem. That is fantastic! You are a stong woman!

Day 3, and it was scale day, which wasn't so bad afterall. 2 lbs, I can't believe it, got on it at least 5 times to make sure.  I have noticed that I am not so hungry any more, and junk food doesn't interest me very much.  Singelmom, I hope that yours comes soon so we can compare our days.  I think this is a really good start for me, I just have to get the exercising going, I am going to look around and see what ia available.

Yeah you should really do that. What kind of sport interests you the most? Just try it! Maybe something like jogging or walking. Or you might also go swimming once a week!

I finally got kioslim last night. I am so happy. I have already taken the first pill last night. I thought about taking one pill every evening before going to bed. How often are you going to weigh yourself? So far I am feeling quite normal and the number on the scale is still the same as well. Guess I have be a little patient :-)

Great, you can start!!!!!!!!!!  I was thinking about weighting myself every 3 days, but do you think I should do it every day?   I think I might go swimming, that would be fun, but how often should I go?  What form of exercises are you going to start?  I know I have to do something, even if it is just sit-ups at night,

Yeah and I am so happy about it. Of course I haven't lost any weight yet but I am sure that I will start losing soon! Well I think weighting every three days might be good but I don't think that I will have that much discipline. Guess I am going to do it every day being too curious  I am not yet what kinf od sport I might enjoy. Maybe something like volleyball. Can't wait to take kioslim again tonight :-)

Do you take your redusyn at night, I take mine in the morning.

I thought about joining a dieting group. But most of these groups are very expensive and therefore I decided not to do it. But I thought about developing my own diet: Eat nothing but fruit and vegetables. Do you think that might work? Yeah I am going to take my kioslim pill in the evening before going to bed. Do you think this is wrong?

I think that you should just watch what you eat, and cut down the portions.  Keeping to a diet all the time is hard, or do 1 fruit day a week, I think that would be very good.  I take my diet pill in the morning, i think then it works better during the day. What do you think?

Well I am not sure which is the best time to take the pills but I think I will keep on taking kioslim in the evening.

That sounds great! Hopefully you will keep on losing during the next days and weeks! I wish you all the best! Well what do you mean by doing a fruit day?
I am feeling quite good too. I did some pilates last night and I am going to do yoga tonight. Do you think that these sports might also increase the eight loss?

I am very pleased with Kioslim, this is working out great.  Of course sport is good for weight loss, and helps tighten every thing up.  My fruit day, I will eat just fruits the whole day, heard that is good for you, just like fasting one day a week is supposed to be good, but I don't think I could do that. Could you?

Well I am not sure if eating nothing but fruits would increase your weight loss. Actually I don't think so because your body also needs fats to stay alive. And kioslim helps you to lose weight anyways. Hopefully you won't spend the whole evening on the toilet :-) Well but if it works-please let me know!

Well you might be right about the fruit and toilet, I better think about that one, i know that I couldn't fast for a whole day, I just thought that it would be healthy to do a fruit day and clean out my system. Yes, Kioslim is very good, it is the only thing that has ever done any good.  How are you doing with Kioslim?

Or you might eat a normal breakfast and a normal lunch but eat nothing but fruits in the evening because you shouldn't need that much at night anyways.

Well I would call the idea of eating lots of fruits stupid. Vitamins are also great. YOu just need to think about the implementation of the idea again. I mean you should eat lots of fruits but don't forget to eat other things as well!

Yeah I also hope so and I think I will be able with kioslim. So which is your goal weight?

I hope to get down to about 140 lbs.  That would be perfect for me, I don't want to be real skinny, I think a women should have some curves, don't you think so?  How much do you want to lose? I just want to be able to wear some of the new clothes that are coming out this summer.  So how have you been doing over the Easter days, did you cheat any, I did alittle bit.

If you are interested in a fruit and veggie plan it actually isn't stupid. If it is truely something you think you could stick to though. It takes a lot of will power and should be started slow. You could eat all fruit and veggies and whole weat carbs and live just fine, vegetarians do it all the time! But for something more realistic you could opt for food combining (the whole Fit for Life idea, the book is $7.99 at barnes and noble, I lost a BUNCH of weight a couple years ago on this plan) so that you are better able to stick with it because you can still eat meat and other stuff. For example early morning eat a fruit salad. And of course a lot of water. The fruit salad has a lot of water weight which will fill you up. Then about 2 hours afterwards (good to wait 2-3 hours between switching food groups, especially fruit) eat a nice veggie salad. This should only be the size of what they bring you with your soup at a restaurant, because this is a snack. Then for lunch have some stir fry with lots of veggies and some noodles. This should fill up a medium sized plate, not a dinner plate. This is good because you get all the protein you need from the highly colored veggies (bright red, green, etc) and you are combining the food right because veggies are carbs and so are the noodles. Whole weat noodles are of course better for you. Then about 2 hours later have about 5 celery sticks with low fat peanut butter as your snack. For dinner have a piece of chicken and some veggies, which are a carb but also can be considered a protein. You really shouldn't have a carb also though because what will happen is the meat will not eliminate but instead turn into fat because the carbs will block it from digesting properly. So skip the macaroni or pasta. Anyway, I'm glad you both are having success with the weight loss

This is my 13th day, and I have made it over the Easter holiday without making a pig of myself.  Lindsey,  that is a pretty good eating plan. I might try it, you said that you lost a bunch of weight with the diet, did you keep it off?  I have to really watch out when I stop taking kioslim, that I don't gain any weight back, that is very important to me, losing right now woth my diet pill is easy, but I have to think about after.

This is my 15th day, and I got on the scale this morning and WOW, I lost 13 lbs.  I treated myself to a smoothie for that !! Yes, I think I might give that diet a try, sounds pretty good, are you going to try it.  I rode my bike for an hour today without huffing and puffing,  do you think riding a bike is good to get back in shape?

This is my 18th day and i have now lost 15lbs.   I also starting swimming, do you think this is good to do to burn calories, or is there something else I can do. I just thought that biking to the pool, then swimming , then biking back home would be a good exercise plan, do you think it is worth doing?

Good to hear that kioslim is working for you too. Yes biking and swimming is really good and I am sure that you will burn lots of calories. How often are you going to go swimming? Try to do it as often as possible. You might also do a teamsport. What about somthing like volleyball? I played volleyball last week and it was really nice. Very exhausting but great!

I think swimming is a great exercise to lose weight, especially cycling before swimming. Other things you can do are cycle/walk/jog to the store when you need to instead of driving there. That too if it isnt too far. Regular house work is also considered good exercise like moping, sweeping, washing dishes and everyday house chores are good ways to burn calories.

As for the diet part, Smoothies are easy and fun to make and it promotes weight loss. Homemade fruit smoothies are packed with ingredients that keep you full for hours: fibre from whole fruits, soy or whey protein, essential fats, wholesome yogurt, are good sources for a healthy diet that promotes weight loss.

I dont know much about kioslim but if you prefer using diet pills, the best way to go would be herbal diet pills as the side effects are minimal. Choose a green tea based product as it is very effective.

I love riding my bike now, I use it now more than I do my car, for one thing I don't have to hunt for a parking space, that is good, I go swimming 3 times a week and I really think it is good, esp for my back aches, positive things. I really Like my kioslim, also has green tea extract in it, and I have no side effects.  How are you doing singelmom?

Swimming is definitely the best exercise, all your muscles are working and the fact that water supports your body makes it easeier than joggong.
