Shopping for supplements just might be as fun as shopping for a dentist. Seriously does anyone enjoy this activity?
Supplements are confusing, there are more choices than stars in the sky, everyone claims theirs is the best, there is dosage amounts, drug interactions and to top everything off some can be harmful.
Yea, that?óÔé¼Ôäós right many brands have been recalled for being unsafe. Don?óÔé¼Ôäót believe me, well in the past 4 years over 200 of them have been recalled. The fact is a company can create a product, sale it to consumers before even testing to ensure it?óÔé¼Ôäós safe. That is sort of scary isn?óÔé¼Ôäót it?
If you?óÔé¼Ôäóre wondering about the FDA well, they do not analyze dietary supplements before they are sold to consumers. They think it?óÔé¼Ôäós the company?óÔé¼Ôäós job to ensure the labeling, ingredients are accurate and safe.
Now there are a few things you can be on the lookout for to ensure a product is not only accurate but safe..
1) Does a product have an expiration date? If it?óÔé¼Ôäós past due or there is not one than that is a red flag that this product could be bad.
2) How old is the company? The truth is 95% of companies go out of business within the first 10 years. The younger a company is the more risky it could be.
3) Does the product have a certificate of analysis? A certificate of analysis ensures that the ingredients listed on the label actually come in the package. Also that the ingredients are safe, which is important right?
These are just a few ideas on how someone can protect themselves. If you would like to learn more I recommend an eBook where you can get at increasemyhealth.net
This eBook is not only FREE but is completely objective, which means that no products are being sold or advertised.

I wanted to evaluate your download, but all I get (eventually) is a redirect to a non-existent page http://increasemyhealth.net/download-page/
Have you considered testing your website before advertising it

I apologize about that.
I just tested it twice. The first time the thank you page would not come up but everything else was fine.
The second time everything ran smooth.
I think it's my hosting so I'm going to switch to another hosting account right now.

| You are now hosted again, but the link is still broken. I again urge you to subscribe to your own email - this way you will see what anyone else is seeing - in the brave new world of IT we call this "testing"

I really appreciate your feedback.
I have tested the download link many times and each time I can download just fine. All you have to do is click on the link. I made it very big.
Then you get access to the book that I'm advertising. You can save it to your computer.
Are you clicking on the link? Do you get access to the book?
Also, what do you think of the book?Last edited on 12 Mar 2012 04:34 am by kevinw

on your main page (increasemyhealth.net) there is a graphic (a picture of a book) and an email-harvesting form with a Submit button. The picture of the book is (indeed) very big, clicking it just brings up a separate window with a picture of a book ( increasemyhealth.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/Ebook-Cover.png ).
Filling in the form redirects you to a thank-you page ( increasemyhealth.net/thank-you/ ) displaying an error message "Error 404 - Not Found" and nothing else.
Meanwhile, an activation email is delivered with an embedded 'aweber.com' link. Once this is clicked, another email appears - this one has the link 'Click Here For Your Free Ebook' which resolves (via 'aweber') back to your website at increasemyhealth.net/download-page/ which is a mostly blank page save for the error message which again is "Error 404 - Not Found".
Tell me what happens when you are navigating to that page using your browser. Are you seeing the same 404 message or are you seeing something else? (Have you done something silly like only enabling your website for people surfing from the USA?). When was the last time that you used an email address to attempt to subscribe to your website - how many days ago was that?
Subsequent emails feature links to 'video' pages. These pages also contain the same 404 error. I maintain that you either do not have a realistic test environment, or are doing no testing at all.
ps the 'blog' side of your website seems to work just fine

The posts were set as private, which was why sometimes they would not come up.
I reset them to public and you should be able to view everything just fine. If anyone has any other problems let me know.
Thank you for your help.

Cheers, I've now been able to download and read it, and it is quite good - I encourage anyone who is interested in supplements to read for themselves.
If anyone is interested, I am currently taking fish oil (3 x 1000mg a day) as well as Vitamin D (about 1500 international units - some of which comes with Calcium).
I used to also take a multi-vitamin multi-mineral, but I the cheap ones that I can afford have some vitamins and minerals that one best does not 'over dose' on, so my choice is between buying a high quality multi (like Dr Fuhrman's "Gentle Care Formula") or not take any. So I take one 'normal' multi pill per month. (otherwise I eat the healthiest diet that I can afford and hope I get all my nutrients from it)
