| Alli is AKA the Diarrhea diet the information they put out is that it could make you lose 5-10 lbs a YEAR! That would not be worth it to me if I had to bring a change of clothes everywhere I go!

| I am taking Xenical which is twice as strong as Alli. I haven't had any side affects at all. You need to eat right. Of course you'll get side affects if you eat fast-food garbage. You shouldn't be eating it any way if you are trying to lose weight. I have lost 5 punds in 2 weeks. I am also on a healthy diet and I exercise( not extreme because I have a hip injury. I tried healthy diet and exercise alone and it did not work. I kept a diary of everything I put in my mouth. I am losing on Xenical!

| It gave me loose stool, even on a low fat diet and I think it has the potential to help you shed pounds, but I don't really know how I feel about pulling vital nutrition from your body. I don't feel like super low fat is the healthiest way to lose weight.

| Hi, I have been taking Alli for a year now and I have lost 30 pounds. Mainly I take Alli with my evening meal when I know I have consumed fat. I used to have oil outbreaks at the start of taking Alli, but no more. I want to lose weight and this is one way that really helps. Suzigrandma@Yahoo.com

| If anyone's reading this and thinking about trying it, I have a starter pack with a little brochure and small carrying case that I never opened. Well, I opened it and read the literature, I didn't open the bottle of pills though. There's enough for a 20 day supply, 60 capsules and 1 taken with each meal. It's taking up space in my bureau right now and I don't really intend to use it.

Well it has been scientifically proven to work, so I guess that's a plus, compared with most diet pills anyway!
However my theory is that the only reason it works is it makes you that afraid to eat anything remotely fatty (since you want to avoid the very nasty side effect that can cause) that you lose weight.
However, if it works, it works I guess.
Yet we do really need certain fats in our diet, and since Alli stops us absoring them (or eating them altogether) it could be quite detrimental to our health, particuarly if we use it for the long term.
