I have been taking Trimspa X32 for two weeks now. At the lowest dose, along with diet and exercise, I've lost 12 lbs in 16 days. I'm an Emergency Medical Technician so I'm not about to just take some pill because it promises weight loss. It contains hoodia, which supposedly take 2 weeks to start working. But, I noticed my appetite dwindling within about two days. It also has caffeine which always helps when you're used to eating a lot and when you cut down, you have an energy loss. The way the pill itself works is, it expands in your stomach, making you feel full without having to eat too much. It's also supposed to burn more calories from what you've eaten. You have to eat for it to work. I've heard stories from friends telling me how it didn't work for them. The thing I stress the most is, it isn't intended to work on it's own. You NEED to have portion control and you NEED to exercise. Don't take it, go out and eat a Big Mac, and expect to lose 5 lbs. As far as I'm concerned, I'm losing weight on my own. Trimspa has just helped me see results quicker.

That's odd about the hoodia. When I saw the 60 Minutes report on it they said it kept you from being hungry right away... not in two weeks. And the whole idea was that it kept you from eating... I don't think you had to eat to make it work.

But maybe that only applies to hoodia alone, and this pill has other ingredients.

I suspect there's some placebo effect with all diet pills too, which is not a bad thing.

Ok. I've come to some results with trimspa. I ran out of it a week ago and havn't had anytime to get more. I've noticed myself being more sluggish since I havn't taken it. Other than that I feel great.

I tried TrimSpa - didn't work one bit for me. Thank god I bought it at GNC and they let me return it when I wasn't satisfied and I got a refund. I take these Hoodia pills now called Weight Control Hoodia and they're actually gel caps so they hit your stomach instantly. Fabulous!!  :D

MAKE SURE that whatever you're consuming has "hoodia gordonii". Generic hoodia is what is in most of the pill concoctions these days.

hoodia gordonii is the plant that you want.

I have been taking Trimspa Ultra for 10 weeks and along with a 1200 calorie a day diet and excerise I have lost over 35 lbs.  I've noticed that the trimspa curbs my appetite and gives me the extra engery I need to get through the day and still excerise at night.  I have 4 kids and a full time job and before starting to take Trimspa I didn't have any engery left after the kids whent to bed.  Now I do I notice the difference if I miss a dose.

Are there any exercises or any advice you could give to a new Trimspa user?

When I started taking TrimSpa I also started a home work out with my ab lounger, stair stepper and bun and thigh roller for 20 mins 7 days a week.  After about 5 weeks and 12 pounds off I started taking a 1 hour water arobetics class 2 days a week and continued my home workout the other 5 days.  I don't do a hard work out just enough to get my heart rate up.  I would suggest that you also count your calories and us the actitivties chart to figure out how many calories you are burning with your work out...... this helps me a lot.  Good Luck!!

This is the link to the calories burned page.  On this page you can calculate how many calories a specific activity will burn.

That list is totally inclusive too. There is "playing with your pet idylly", and also "playing with your pet, interactive". Or something close to that. Now when I play with my cats in the evening I make sure I'm moving around too, not just them! It's hysterical. My apartment is just big enough that we don't get too terribly dizzy going around in small circles:P That's the urban life for you though.

seminakedcats (is that the name of your favorite rock group?), if your're serious about exercising inside, countingcalories would like some help with that subject:

forum5/1487.html

On the lighter side, I love a little humor and have it all over my website... though only a little so everything still looks somewhat professional.

Have you seen:

Family Reunion (sitting, talking, eating; not fightint)

(I added the last part!)

Or calculated:

Skin Diving - shark attack

Or:

Cake, Birthday

Hey Peter! I'm serious about making sure I move now when I play with the cats! I get up off the couch and try to move more muscles just to get more calories burning! And we really do get dizzy running around! 500 sq ft in DC is about what 1/3 of a million will get you today. It's insane!

I'm off to look at the posts you suggested now. Always needing a laugh. Especially today! I just weighed myself for the first time since I started dieting. I was too depressed to do it at the beginning so I waited 2 weeks in. Akkkk!

:o)

Kit:cat:   Oh, seminakedcats is just something that came to me once when I was looking at my cats. I suppose if I get a band or something, I'll name it that.

I took Trimspa for 12 weeks and, when incorporated with diet and excercise, I lost about 15 lbs.  Then when I stopped taking it I was good and lost another 9. Then about a month later I started stuffing my face again and got too lazy to go to the gym. In that month I only gained 2 lbs but it's the fact that I became lazy that really bothered me. So, I decided to get back to the gym and now I'm back on Trimspa. I figured I'd try it for another 12 weeks and see where that takes me. Bathing suit season is coming so if I lost another 24 lbs I'd be 139. Which isn't a terrible weight for a shorty like  me.

Also, I've heard the 2 week Hoodia effect several times now as well, but for me it didn't take that long. Could this rule be linked to links that want you to buy a 3 month supply at once? Could be...
Now, all I have to do is to remember to TAKE the Hoodia.
What is Trimspa? Do they counsel as well as provide supplements? Do they tell you what to eat? What's their deal in a nutshell. I've only seen the Anna Nicole commercials and it's hard to take her seriously.

I questioned the "two weeks" for hoodia to take effect myself because in the 60 Minutes episode it worked right away. The reply was that in the 60 Minutes episode they were eating the cactus!

The lesser amount found in capsules takes longer to have it's full effect.

You've just got to wonder who the first people were to try all the things that we eat. Cactus is way up there on the list of things it wouldn't normally occur to me to eat, but can you imagine being the first person to decide raw oysters were a treat?
Well, being "urban" there's no chance of me growing cactus for my own use, so I guess I'll have to rely on placebo effects and suggestion. :yumm:

I'm an E.M.T. too!!!  Actually I'm not certified right now and not working, but hoping to get back to work soon...

So, can you order a little hoodia cactus, grow it in your kitchen window and eat it as a supplement?  I can't take it, so I'm just wondering for informational purposes.

Hey Skipper, Great minds from upstate think a like. We can call that lake-effect thinking.

Once upon a thin girl,

No, I don't think you can get the cactus and grow it. I was just kidding. If you did do something like that, you would need a botanist and a physicist to figure out how to get the right amount out at a time in a consistent manner. Good idea though, and amazingly, cactus is one of the few plants my cats won't eat! I have no plants. They will either eat them or pee in the dirt. Instincts.

I'm an expired EMT too! Wow, there are several of us in here. I volunteered for the fire dept in my area for 5 years, 90-95. It was fun. I'm glad I'm not doing it in DC though. They're BUSY and who knows what you're going to see when you roll up on that scene!

Cheers,

Is there any mention of danger with taking Hoodia SA along with prescription meds? I take meds for high cholesterol and high blood pressure.  Does anyone have any opinions about the safety of taking Hoodia with these meds?  Is this Hoodia SA FDA approved?  I read one post on another site that said that a person must take at least 1500 mg of Hoodia a day to see results.  Now I AM confused.  I am desperate to try this to use as a jump start to get me back on track.  Any advice out there?
