Hello everyone, I'm new here and thought I'd share how my wife (with my help) is now losing weight.

We've been together 16 years and a have one son. She is 5 feet tall and a UK dress size 20. She's tried everything to get back to the size 12 she was when we met. At her height a 12 was by no means skinny but she was sexy as #%@&!. Now, I still love her and she knows that whatever size she is that will never change.

BUT.

She hates her body image and gets depressed about it. She has been going to a weekly weigh in (fat club she calls it) for about 3 years and has only had moderate sucess, a couple of pounds here and there that quickly went back on. Despite her excercising 4 times a week for an hour and a half at a time she admitted it was her eating habits that were the problem. I admit part of that was my fault, buying easy convenience foods etc.

Six weeks ago she announced that she had had enough and wanted to get back to a 12 by whatever means necessary and she told me to be tough with her, really tough. Her 4 times weekly workout is karate, she's at a high belt level and eligable to be trained as an instructor which she really wants but she's not been selected. Anyone guess why?

So we devised an agreement to get her weight down and help her goal of becoming the woman and sensei she wants to be.

Here it is and I'll pull no punches.

Diet:

Wholegrain cereal for breakfast.

Lunch she takes to the office consists of fruit, yoghurt, and other ultra low fat items.

Dinner is now always fresh meat or fish with fresh veg and her portions are about two thirds of what they were six weeks ago.

On her "fat club" nights she can have a treat of a pizza for dinner when she gets in.

She's not allowed bread until she's shed 2 stones and no snacking between meals at all.

The incentive we devised to keep her on track is the key though. Like many women all over the world she read a certain book this year. She wasn't impressed and let's say she prefers more vanilla bedroom activities and hates anything "kinky" so that's the key. Now if she strays from the diet and puts weight on she gives me a "treat" at bed time. She uses the bathroom first and I go in second. When I get to the bedroom she has to be standing facing away from me naked with her hands on her head. I then handcuff her hands behind her back and get 30 minutes of her submitting to my every whim. If she eats bread, cakes, or any other "bad" food without asking me first she pays an extra 30 minute bedtime penalty.

She hates the thought of it. The result? since the diet and treat/forfeit plan "went live" 5 weeks ago she's lost 10lbs, 4 of those were in the first week!! She has a photograph of the handcuffs on her phone and if she feels tempted she looks at the picture. That piece of cake or thick slice of crusty bread soon loses it's appeal.

It's working for us but I guess doesn't have to be so extreme for other couples, I tried for years supporting her and reassuring her which she says was pretty useless to her. Now she has the incentive to lose weight every week or end up doing something she hates.

Sometimes you've just got to be tough with someone you love, I can highly reccomend sitting down with your other half if they're struggling with weight loss and discussing their likes, dislike, and hates. Try it, it works.

He started by getting out his ex uk police rigid bar cuffs and put my hands behind my back. It was horrible and uncomfortable, when you're fat with short arms being handcuffed is not pleasant. He changed to 2 sets of chain link cuffs. Embarassing, 2 pairs of cuffs and my hands were still pulled behind me. Afterwards he let me put my nighty on and re-cuffed me then took a picture to show me.
He played with my boobs and belly, I hate my belly but couldn't stop him.
I had the full half hour and felt so used and humiliated afterwards. I won't be messing up my diet again, we've got the right way encourage me to lose weight, I don't want to feel like that again.

That's sick but when she gets skinny it sounds like fun.

Your wife needs a good eating plan that is easy and healthy. Get her weight in pounds and multiply it by 10 and that is her basal metabolic rate. Feed her that many calories.

If she cheats you may want to try water boarding her.
