Dear Students,
Sure, most of you are gluttons but in your defense you have had a lot of help becoming gluttons but don't let yourselves off the hook quite yet. As they say, forewarned is forearmed. We all know that we live in a greedy gluttonous food centric society that is quick to enable and normalize obesity but there is something more sinister and covert at foot that is helping to seduced the weak willed into the greedy ugly vulgar Western lifestyle. What is it you ask? In a word it is FLAVOR!
There are scientists who work for the food industry and all the do is create flavors that in a general sense cause addiction. They take flavors that we like, let's take lemon for example and they enhance that flavor and create flavorings that will "knock your socks off" and cause cravings. They do this so that you will buy the product. People eat for flavor first and foremost and that is the problem. Because I am strong willed I won't fall for it.
As many of you know, I am a manly man. In fact I should write a manly man manual and Mrs JSABD should write a womanly woman workbook. This brings me to a point. Seeing as how I am a manly man I am very libidinous the way a manly man should but in spite of that I could resist the sexual advances of even the most beautiful women because I have the strength of character to do so. Even if I were single I could and I would not follow my lustful urges if the outcome could prove negative. I live on a higher plane than most people and I think that is why I have insights that tend to incite the hedonistic. This does not mean that I do not enjoy food or sex. On the contrary -- I probably enjoy food and sex more than most of you. The drive for sex, and food is controlled by a primitive structure in the brain called the hypothalamus. All animals have a hypothalamus but what sets us apart from the animals is our forebrain. The forebrains of non gluttons and non hedonists are more developed. We control out impulses. We don't respond to food marketing tactics that work so well on the many hedonistic glutton such as yourselves.
Empowerment
We hear that word used a lot and when people like Oprah use it it is usually BS. Her lemmings eat that stuff up. Oprah has enough money to not be fat but deep down she's a glutton like the rest of you and because she has soooo much BS her fattitude is formidable and too complex for the average therapist to crack and then navigate. Add the cocktail of female hormones combined with her horrible fat mother and it becomes more complex. This is not to bash Oprah because she has many redeeming qualities but she is not a good role model and she in not empowered even with all her success. She's still a train wreck but so are a lot of unmanly men and unwomanly women.
Self control IS empowerment.
People want to steal your power and break your will and that is very easy to do with a hedonist. We had some fat acceptance troll here and I was glad they stopped by. I took them to task and I made examples of them for the benefit of people who are here with a serious desire to reform and repent
Do not let slick marketing, or a chemical flavoring into you mind or your brain. As a glutton you are a greater risk of relapse than a heroine addict. First off you are not getting the help and counsel you need. Secondly you are surrounded by other gluttonous enablers. The first thing the tell a junkie is to not hang out with other junkies.
Here is what is worse for you as a glutton. You are being targeted every day by slick marketing professionals who work with scientists to cause what is arguably food addiction. What makes it worse is that is is socially acceptable and 100% legal.
I hope this insight does more than just incite. I hope that it leads you to an understanding of what you as a glutton need to navigate through in order to conquer your gluttony and gain the empowerment and autonomy that you all deserve.
