I live in America and America is the most decadent and hedonistic country on earth. The French (the second least obese people in Europe) call us ugly Americans and we call them snobs but we can't call the fat.

America is so vile and gluttonous that it sends troops to other countries to steal their oil. We will kill innocent people so that we can drive gas guzzling SUVs and live high on the hog. We consume consume consume. We are to be mocked and scorned and it starts with the individual who drives his Cadillac Escalade to the all you can eat buffet and then waddles in and goes hog wild.

There is starvation in this world and there doesn't need to be. Amerika's weapon on the third world is hunger, need and want. Amerika sucks. We kill and maim for our greed and lust. We are an ugly culture.

The Beatles got it right when they wrote songs like Bungalo Bill and Piggies

Piggies by George Harrison

Have you seen the little piggies
Crawling in the dirt
And for all the little piggies
Life is getting worse
Always having dirt to play around in.

Have you seen the bigger piggies
In their starched white shirts
You will find the bigger piggies
Stirring up the dirt
Always have clean shirts to play around in.

In their sties with all their backing
They don't care what goes on around
In their eyes there's something lacking
What they need's a #%@&! good whacking
.

Everywhere there's lots of piggies
Living piggy lives
You can see them out for dinner
With their piggy wives
Clutching forks and knives to eat their bacon.

Piggies is one of my favourite songs on the White Album (along with Rocky Racoon and While My Guitar Gently Weeps). You've got me in the mood now to listen to the entire album.

Thanks.

WARNING: what's about to follow is pure envy.

The French (the second least obese people in Europe)
The Danes, The Dutch make bike transit safer and more sensible by far than in the US. Helmets aren't even considered necessary. In a lot of cities in Europe there are free bike rentals!

Come on, it's so cute! How could you resist? (LOl, I'll bet you can guess my favorite Queen song now, since we're talking music)

Yes, he was underrated in the shadows of Paul and John, who wrote 90% of most albums. Yet his songwriting was just as good as theirs was.

He wrote a few songs about eating. Another that comes to mind is Savoy Truffle.

By the way, I love the picture of the burger!

Lennon wrote Strawberry Fields and Mean Mister Mustard.  I guess that's who I am.

Perhaps the name of the song should be changed to Strawberries & Cream, as that's made some of us put the weight on in the first place!

?óÔäó?½ Strawberries and cream forever! ?óÔäó?½
