If you're a teenager and are only 30 lbs overweight, don't worry. Teenage boys are base creatures... as in even holes in trees looking inviting. (Yeah, gross, tasteless, etc, but truth).

Don't worry. If anything you have more power over males now then you will when you're over 25. Surging hormones are on YOUR side.

However if you're looking for an actual relationship, I'd say... take heart. Life is long if you live it well, and you'll find someone eventually.

Hey there! I think you must learn to love yourself first before guys start to notice you or ask you out. If you feel good about yourself then it would naturally show. But as you said, you hate your body. I think the best thing to do is eat everything in moderation in order to start shedding off weight. Counting calories, measuring portions, learning about your nutritional needs and planning healthy meals are good ways of practicing moderation. Plus, combine a tolerable calorie restriction and exercise. DO NOT however deny yourself from foods that you enjoy because the idea is to follow a healthy, balanced, and enjoyable nutrition and fitness plan that you can stick with.

Hey there!  I am female, and was a teenager myself at one time, and I raised 4 girls.  "Self body image" always seems to be an important factor in those years.  With mag's showing images of girls and women looking like they need a double cheeseburger and a hug, it distorts the perception of what we should look like in society.  Not knowing your bone structure, I am not sure what you are suppose to weigh.  If you are small or medium boned, it is different than if you are large boned.  Make a plan and set your goals realistically.  Try changing your lifestyle to start with.  Focus on that and do not pay too much attention to the scale to begin with.  Try walking everyday at a slow pace for 30 minutes.  Breathe deeply inhaling thru your nose, and exhale thru your mouth.  Do floor stretching very slowly.  Change the way you eat.  DO NOT go on a "crash diet", or resort to stupid things like diet pills or laxitives.  You should only lose about 1 lb. a week.  Engage in possitive things in all you do.  Eat fruits and vegetables more than anything else you consume.  Drink water.  Give up sugar (pay attention to hidden sugars).  READ all info this site provides.  It is an awesome site!  (Oh, the boys, well let me tell you a secret.)  What I am about to tell you is a proven FACT!  All the girls that are popular and getting all the dates, all the guys they are dating, will be NOBODY'S when high school is over!  If you focus on yourself and study hard to make good grades and take care of your health, high school will be over with your being in shape ready for the real world.   The others will suffer feeling they are nobody's because it will ALL BE OVER for them.  I promise you "college" is way more fun!!!!  ;-)
