certainly there are many "empty carbs" that can be usefully removed from a typical diet - examples include biscuits, cakes, chocolate, bread, pasta, rice, any non-diet drinks (including fizzy drinks and even pure fruit juices) etc.
Potatos can be a low calorie food, but then again some people will only eat them with cheese, butter, mayonnaise or deep-fried in oil. Potatos can be baked or microwaved and enjoyed with spices or low-calorie tomato-based sauces, but if you cannot bring yourself to divorce potatos from the high-calorie ways of eating them, then ditch them too.
So what dishes are easy to make? salads, soups, currys are relatively simple, can be made low calorie and without "empty carbs". A stir-fry, a tin of beans are again very easy. Focus on incorporating vegetables, beans and fruit. Notice how this diagram limits calories from grains and potatos to less than 20% of overall calories:

I sometimes go to a Harvester restaurant, pay ?é?ú4 for their "just salad" option and go silly until I'm full - avoiding pitfalls like their high-calorie sauces (all but one), and their mayo-based colslaw and I'm safe even if I let myself have a bread roll or two.

| Yeah I don't have time for breakfast in a morning and generally have long waits at work for eating so by the time I'm home or have a break a just want anything quick , in thinking about making a batch or fruit smoothies and having them as they will be easier and quicker and I think are quite filling x

If I'm truly on the go I just grab fruit. Technically it is more filling if I have to bite it.
If I have 10-15 minutes to spare I get frozen fruit (pear, pineapple and a quarter of a banana) - slightly defrost in microwave, add a teaspoon of whey powder and use S-blade in food processor until I get "mock ice cream". It does not keep - it is only delicious whilst still cold.

Without doing any workout it will not be easy to get your perfect body shape. I think you must start with morning walk.
And now back to your routine diet plan . . . Start your day by drinking of plenty water it help to detoxification of your body.
Nir giving you good instruction about food plan I think you start to follow. In your diet plan you can also add some juices that is recommended by the dietician.
Juices are really helpful to reduce your extra weight.

Sounds like your work is taking up a lot of your time!
Like Kamalk, I still think exercise is important. Think of it this way: it helps you feel better about your body, gives you better energy & concentration at work.
Is having a 'mini-gym' at home a feasible idea for you? Get a tread mill (you can get them for as little as $300) or a few simple equipment for workout which shouldn't take more than 15 minutes per session!

| Exercised are important. So do them with no doubt. But as for diet, I think it would be better to go to doctor and consult with him.

I hope you would not mind if I give you a piece of advice. :)
I think you should also watch your sugar intake because when you take too much sugar or carbs, you will have insulin spike and thus, you will tend to feel the urge to eat none stop.
Sleep is also very important for losing weight. If you do not have enough sleep, your leptin hormone level will reduce and ghrelin hormone level will increase. This will cause a problem for you as, you will not feel full even after eating.
So, if you are going on a low carb diet, do consider these factors too.

| Try doing 6 small meals per day, starting from when you wake up until you go to sleep. Have the meals be high protein low carbohydrate and sugars. This will help jump start your metabolism again. Also to help you with portion sizes you could try an appetite suppressant. I personally have tried phentermine and I enjoy it. I take it every other day. But if you really want to jump start your weight loss, you need to have 6 meals per day. Let me know if you have any questions!

I've tried to cut out empty carbs myself (crisps/sweets/chocolate/bread), and I include pasta, rice and breakfast cereals in that. I've found something that has really worked for me which at first seems counter intuitive and that's snacking on nuts - High fat, high calorie, but also high nutrition, and a few are a thousand times more filling than a packet of crisps.
(Just a thought)

It has been almost one year now since your posting. I sincerely hope you have cross the finishing line with achieving your desire shape and body weight.
However, if you still have not reach your goal, you may want to consider my humble opinions.
Have you realized that weight loss requires a lot of efforts. Two important equations - right diet and right exercise.
The above equations are the technical aspect of your efforts/actions. However to really succeed you will need the other aspect of weight loss requirements - 3 critical factors you and others thinking of losing weight must have:-
1. Do you have a very compelling reason to lose weight?
2. Do you understand the importance of setting weight loss goals?
3. Are you having the right mindset?
These deals more on your psychological needs. If you are unable to address these 3 factors, your weight loss journey is going to be a steep hill all the way.
And, most of all you will not enjoy the travels!
If you are reading this, I hope it helps.
Cheers and be well always.

No carbs diets are great. I practice it on a regular basis. There are so many ways you can go about it. I'd recommend to go with salads that doesn't include bread or cheese or pasta.Just vegetables. On a low carb diet, you can eat as much fat as you like as long as it is serving size which is no more than around 15gr per meal. These fats don't always have to be healthy fats, but they MUST NOT contain any carbohydrates or sugars. Desserts, sweets etc all contain a lot of sugar. If you have a kebab or sth, you can only eat the meat and salad. No bread.
What I do when I don't have time is snacking on almonds, seeds, and other nuts which are good for you, full of amino acids and healthy fats with no fats whatsoever.
So salads with chicken/fish/meat can be ordered from outside. You can also snack with cucumbers, carrots or any other vegetables you like.
I believe that the main problem you have is the eating habits and enjoying the fattening food. If you have any habits of consuming food as a way of getting rid of emotional problems like frustration, depression etc, you need to figure out another way of doing that. Breathing exercises or stretches can be helpful which you can do while at work.
Hope this helps

We have tried to help minimize away clear cabohydrate supply me personally (crisps/sweets/chocolate/bread), and My spouse and i incorporate pasta, grain and dinner cereals in this. I have found something that possesses genuinely worked well in my opinion which usually initially looks counter instinctive and that is snacking about nut products - Excessive extra fat, high calorie, and also high nourishment, and some certainly are a 500 periods much more completing compared to a box regarding crisps.
