Hi guys!
Okay so I am new at this and a little unsure on how to start out.
So I'll tell you my story and why I'm after a buddy.
I am currently 20 yrs old and live in a small country town in Australia NSW working full time.
I have a partner whom I have been with for three years in December (woo!) but unfortunately during these three years I've noticed a lot of changes in my body and my habits.
I stand at a good 5'10-11 and roughly weigh about 73kg currently. I have been doing fad diets since I was about 15 to flucuate my weight whenever I felt the need to. I'm not entirely "unhappy" with my body, I have some pretty decent features (long body, long legs etc) but I am in no way toned or healthy at all.
I don't consider myself to be extremely overweight, but I am not in the frame that I would like to be.
I'm chuffing down close to a pack of 20 smokes a day and fall into some pretty horrid eating habits, I find myself eating a lot of greasy or take out food over the course of the week when I get bored of eating healthy. Lately I have been getting unusual chest tightness and very short of breath and I know my habits have to stop. I have smoked for up to 7 years this year and want to boot the habit once and for all. I get no benefits from it and have been trying different methods to do it (champix, patches, books etc)
I do have to give myself credit as I have dropped 15kg since January this year, but I want to drop a further 15 or so. I don't want people to tell me how much I should weigh and if that's too much to lose or anything like that, I have a rough idea of what my body looks like at different weights and losing the 15kg would give me a nice lean looking figure and I would be happy with that!
I know all my basic guide lines on healthy foods to eat and how my diet should be planned out, but I just lose the motivation on doing it!
I have a "gym" set up in my garage consisting of a cross trainer, weights, boxing bag and straps. I just can't seem to get myself into gear about getting my butt in there to work out! I always feel great after a workout, I just can't push myself into starting one in the first place.
I'm after a buddy who is in a similar position to me in one way or another - lacking motivation, maybe you smoke? Someone who wants to compare diet plans.. I'm after anything :)
I feel it could be beneficial to have someone else to work with and support when we are trying to reach the same goal!

am mercy fro Kenya, Africa..
i am also 20yrs old and am currently 5 feet 9 inches..i weigh 88kilos..( yaap i know am quite a heavy garl)...
i would love to be ur weight loss buddy coz so far ave lost 10 kilos and i wana lose 15 more..

| Hi. Am Shera...am impressed by your weight loss so far. Am also 20yrs old and overweight . Am 5'4 and currently 77kgs. I've lost 6kgs so far. I've been looking for a diet buddy from around. I live in Nairobi. I wouldn't mind having you as a diet buddy if your up for it.
