I just had a quick question.
I go to the gym (weight lifting and cardio) six days a week. Is that enough? On the days i don't go to the gym i always feel guilty as if i'm going to gain weight just because i haven't gone that day. i don't over-eat on that day or anything (in fact i try to eat even less to compensate for having not gone to the gym), i just *feel* heavier.
I usually take that one day off because i'm tired or have too much to do. But if it makes me feel so bad not to go should i try to go that seventh day?
Thanks,
TinkerBell

I ran 7 days a week for years and ruined my knees. Our bodies need time to heal. A day off is great!
Also if you are working a muscle hard it needs time to recover. So never work the same muscle two days in a row.
I have three routines, and do them on Mon, Tue, Wed, then repeat. Sunday is my day off, or if I miss a day I can get caught up. (We're all compulsive!)
The biggest mistake people make is not listening to their bodies. They will tell us when we need to take it easy and heal.

| Your body needs at least one day to rest...so I think 6 days is enough. Are you doing weights everyday you are at the gym or are you alternating body parts?
