It's time to throw out those stale cookies and fudge and get REAL!!!

The holidays were a blast and full of gastronomic delights!

Today I begin my challenge to lose 15 pounds in 9 weeks!

I need to lose between 15 and 20 lbs. too.

Hope to hear about your progress.

I just got back from a long day of work and shopping and driving the crazy SoCal freeways!
looking forward to my Monday morning workout!
what are you doing as far as food, exercise etc. for right now? do you have a regular routine you follow or random?
I am going (mostly) vegetarian, I will be eating some fish but stopping cheese and butter for now...:moon:goodnight!

Hey, sweet_girl8!

I guess for starters, my diet is mainly smaller portions of what I already eat.  I try to replace whatever I can with a fat free version. Don't know if this actually helps but it's a start.  We use the fat free versions of: milk, cheese, ice cream, coffee creamer, etc.

One thing I am having trouble with cutting back on is the sweets.  This is going to be my worst challenge of all.

As for exercise, I try to walk everyday at least 30 minutes to start and want to get into using free weights for strength training.  I used to be really good at a regular program with the weights but since last year I have faltered a bit.  I broke my ankle in June 2007 and I have been slow to get back in the groove of exercise.

Good luck with your weight loss plans!!
