Hey! i've decided to make a change in my life as of yesterday and i think these forums will be a great way to motivate me =)

I'm 6'0 ft tall and weight 200 lbs, I am 19 years old and I live in southern California.
I've been overweight since about the age 14, before that i was VERY thin. I've made several attempts in the past to drop my eating habits and begin exercising but it usually only lasts a few days and its because of the lack of motivation. My best attempt was back in July of 07 I decided to quit fast food and that lasted about a month! but the results were FANTASTIC. Let me tell you this im the biggest fast food addict ever, my diet is VERY unhealthy, i eat fast food everyday once or twice. But when i quit for that month i dropped about 20lbs. That was all i did was quit eating fast food. No additional excercise nothing. Ever since then my bad eating habits have continued but i havent gained a single pound back. I'm not yet where i want to be, i think there is still alot of work.

So i hope with the help of these forums and a blog i started( i wont post it here cause of the rules, but if you'd like to follow me in my journey send me a msg and ill give ya the link) that i will have enough support and the motivation to lose weight

Welcome and Good Luck!!!!!!  Sense you lost so much just by quiting fast food, and you love it so much, why don't you try cutting back on the fast food.  If you eat it 2 times a day cut it back to 1.   Don't get a value meal, get smaller portions, drink water instead of soda....just an idea

Hahah =) I always try that to get smaller portions, but as soon as i get to the ordering part i automatically get something big lol, but im on day 3  of no fast food at all.  Thanks for the advice!
