| Hi- I am new to post on this site but I have been using CPH for about 6 weeks now. I am 37, 6', male and currently at 225. I was right around 240 when I started counting my cals, exercising and lifting weights. I am feeling so much better than I was a few months back. I am 'still' motivated by my weight loss. I am not looking to drop a huge amount anytime fast. I am more interested in changing my previous lifestyle of basically waking up, working and sitting at home eating - I know 'boring'. So far so good! The best thing I like doing is walking, which currently I am up to 3-4 miles a day. I never knew I had such a nice neighborhood! Although I think I'll like it better in the summer..... Well that's me in a nutshell. Good luck!

Welcome to the forums!
Congrats on your weight loss so far. You goals are very realistic, and that's half the battle.
People spend a lifetime leaning bad habits and putting on weight. Then when they can't lose it all in a short time, they get discouraged and quit.
Keep up the good work!
