Hello everyone.

I have come here to make my quest for health (and fat loss) known to the world and so I can be held publicly accountable. I have lost weight a few times in the past but I end up gaining it back. This time I want to make it stick.

I have joined the gym and while I went well at first, I have slacked lately, it always seems like I am busy. I am going to try to start going to the gym in the morning before work and see if that helps. Besides, I always feel way more energetic coming out of the gym then when I go in it.

I am going to watch my diet much better too. I am not one who is good with moderation. I have a tendency to be all or nothing when it comes to pretty much anything. That too is something I need to work on that definitely ties into my losing weight and gaining it back.

I would love any sort of advice or feed back and I definitely want people to hold me accountable for my actions or inaction. I hope I meet a lot of new friends and can be of help to many others on this forum.

Although I'd like nothing more than to be able to "moderate" my intake of junk food and especially sweets, I too find myself to be an all-or-nothing person and so far have not found a solution for it.

Other than the obvious one. As I clearly cannot handle a moderate amount of sweets, I accept my powerlessness over them and give them up completely for my own good. Never say never but right now this is working for me.

Thanks Nir. Yes, moderation is something I want to work on this year. :D I will put my all or nothing efforts into becoming a moderator. The irony right?
