I am 32 years old, 5'4', and' about 180 pounds. I would like to lose about 55 pounds. Just trying to find all the support and info I can get. 4 years ago I went from 195 pounds to 95 pounds in five months. I planned to stop at 125 but I had built up alot of muscle and kept losing weight even after I tried to stop. I then had to stop working out and drastically increase my calories so that I could put weight back on. It took me a year to put anything back on at all and then it came back pretty quickly. My doctor says I am in great health (great blood pressure and bloodwork) in spite of being overweight. But I am in much better shape then I was the last time I started my weight loss journey. I quit smoking 6 years ago (which contributed to the original weight gain). I avoid eating unhealthy foods, rarely eat out and never touch fast food. So although I have put alot of weight back on, I have done it eating healthier foods. I am hoping this helps me lose it since all I have to do is start working out again, which I enjoy, and cut calories.

My body does like to work in extremes, once I start losing, it goes fast, and when I gain I gain fast. I am trying to learn this time how to better maintain my idea weight (which is between 115-125 pounds). I want to be prepared to stop losing at my target weight before I lose too much.

I am having surgery in Feb to repair damage to my fallopian tubes so that I can conceive. So I want to have everything under control by then.
