Ok I just got my DVDs and have been doing it 3 days in a row.

Day 1 - Learn & Burn

Day 2 - 20 Minute Workout

Day 3 - Ab Jam & Turbo Sculpt (no weights)

My issue is that I don't feel sore yet. Does this mean I'm doing it wrong?

HELP.

If you were active and in good shape to start there is no reason to get sore unless you REALLY worked out harder than you are used to.

I have huge muscles and never get sore from working out. Soreness comes from a hard workout when you are totally out of shape, or working new muscles. The Tutoiral explains:

Chalene will let you know if you're doing the exercises right. If you start to feel fatigue when she says you should feel fatigue, you are definitely on the right track. You may want to increase...or add weights if you aren't feeling muscle fatigue during the last few repetitions of the exercises.

I could really feel burning in my muscles when exercising and thought I would be much sorer than I was. The exercises are definitely working, though! Even my daughters have been saying "Mommy...you're getting skinny."

I can see my obliques and a lot of great shoulder and leg muscle definition. I can even feel gluteal muscles when I bend my legs. I don't ever remember being able to do any of that even when I was 40 pounds thinner.:dog:

Hello everyone,

I just recently ordered Turbo Jam and have not yet recieved it. I have just decieded that I can no longer look in the mirror and will my myself thin (and actually expect it to work). I have been reading alot about TJ, and have been hearing great things. I can't wait to get started. I'd really like to hear more on it.

I've tried a lot of things and TJ seems to at least keep my attention.  If you  are like me... you do a set of tapes/dvds and then after a month or so get bored.

TJ is fun.   Char is fun to watch and listen to.  She hit it on the nail when she tells you... first learn the routine... then add and have fun with it.  I am a big pusher for WOWY (work out with you)  try it... it's free:)

I have been at it on and off for about a month.  Last week I was able to fit in 3 days of workouts: 20 min one with either a sculpt or cardio party and lost 3 pounds.  I also really watched what I ate last week.  Just keep up the work and I believe it will pay off big time.

I am not sure what all you have but, to change it up use different cardio/scupting dvds as often as possible.  Beachbody.com has them for sale and I am sure your TJ came with plenty of coupons for buying more of their products:)

Hope this helps.

my experience so far is I tend not to get sore with the Cardio..it is the Ab workouts that I really feel sore....and a little bit with Turbo Sculpt...like others have said..it depends on your fitness level  ..ya can always add weights to make it more challenging..good luck to you! And have fun!

You can tone any of the exercises down to your fitness level. All the programs have people in them doing lower impact exercises. I'm trying to lose about 60 pounds and I was able to do all the exercises with some practice. I can do most of the exercises at the highest level now. (I've lost 38 of the 60 pounds).

It might start out a little difficult. There is one woman on the program who lost over 70 pounds and she looks amazing...very inspiring. If you like to dance, you may find that you can adapt to the program pretty quickly.:dog:

That is great that you lost 30+:)...I am thinking that I am going to order it.  It is a little expensive but sounds worth it!:cat:
