I used to hate Lean Pockets (and Hot Pockets too) because they had such a small variety, and I was not a fan of the kinds they did offer. The only kind I really liked was Ham and Cheese and that got pretty old after a while.
Well, since I was in high school, they really have expanded their offerings, and definitely in a great way!
One variety that I would definitely recommend, and it is pretty new is Garlic Chicken White Pizza. It is Whole Grain, 270 calories, and really yummy. I think I am gonna have one for lunch.

I find that lean pockets are usually high in calories considering how small they are. It takes 2 of them to make a 'normal' sized snack/meal, and at 270 calories per lean pocket, thats a lot more than most other things someone trying to lose weight would eat.

Ummmm, actually I disagree. It doesn't take two pockets to make a meal. I am perfectly content with just the one.
That said, there are lots of meals at lunch that have as much or more calories than a Lean Pocket. A 6" Roast Beef Sub from Subway contains 290 calories. Weight Watchers/Lean Cuisine meals have at least 250 in most of the meals.
Now is it as nutritionally sound as a full and balanced meal, with fruits and vegetables and lean meats? Probably not. But, as an option, I don't think it is as bad as you make it out to be.

Maybe I just don't have the self control to eat just one. If they didn't come 2 in a box it wouldn't be so hard, but I don't think I could take just one out and put the other back. They're just too tasty.

I too really love the Lean Pockets -- especially the whole grain variety!
BUT .... I don't eat them anymore because anything that comes pre-packaged or ready-to-eat like that I consider to be NOT healthy.
It's just as easy for me to make a big batch of homemade hotdish or spaghetti or taco salad and throw individual portions in the freezer if I need a quick meal for lunch. I'd rather take a few extra minutes in the morning to pack myself a lunch, which really, doesn't take long at all.
But I will agree that there are many things worse than a Lean Pocket.
